On a recent trip to Germany, I got a ticket and I think it was a camera that caught me. I got the ticket in the mail at my home address (I don't know how they knew my home address). It doesn't look like the ticket was forwarded by the rental car company.
1. Is it best to pay off the ticket (or just ignore it)? I figure it would cause some trouble in case I ignore it and I wish to return to Germany in the future. 2. The ticket is in German and expecting payment of 30 euros ... I don't know how to pay it off even if I wanted to. They have an email and phone number there.The car rental company provided your info. 30EUR is cheap to buy piece of mind the next time you are in Germany. I would pay 30E is nothing..and you never want any "issues" next time you try to come into Germany.
