...receiving gubmint "handouts." Now a Democratic Congresswoman wants to put the shoe on the other foot - Wisconsin Rep. Gwen Moore introduced the Top 1% Accountability Act.
The bill calls for individuals who claim itemized deductions over $150,000 to submit a recent and clean drug test or else they “may not elect to itemize deductions for the taxable year.” Instead, they’d be restricted to the lower standard deduction. The coke-heads on Wall Street would not be able to get a "handout" in the form of a tax deduction unless they pass a drug test.
