Oh yes, even if I've seen a gent many times, I still ask him to give me a call when he has arrived. I know it takes about 2 minutes from the time he steps out of his car until he knocks on my door. I like to have that last minute fair warning so that I can freshen the lipstick, change whatever music I have playing to something more appropriate, etc. Basically put on the last finishing touches so I'm ready to greet him when he knocks on the door. That is sort of a side benefit of the 2 call system, but mostly its for safety :o )

how do you get past the 2 call protocol, i'm a newbie.

Here is how the two call system works.

Call 1 - you arrange a visit for a specific date and time.  She tells you to call back when you are at a nearby location.

Call 2 - You've followed her instructions, and are ready to call for specific details.

It may be a hassle, but it is how things work.

You don't 'get past' it, that is simply how 99.9% of providers operate.

The first call will get you to the general area that she is located in. The second call, once you are there, will get you her exact location, room number etc.

To be blunt, we don't want just anyone having our exact location unless you actually show up. We get too many no call/no shows to be giving out that information freely. Plus, I want to be able to SEE your car before I tell you where I am.

Sorry, it is for our security. As long as you have a cell phone though, there should be no reason why you can't work with a 2 call system like that.

I have a regular indy girl who will give me her location and room number as soon as she checks in that day but she still wants a courtesy call before I come up and knock on her door just for safety's sake. Even when we do out call she calls ME from her car to let me know that she is on her way up.

Yep, among the many onerous burdens in life, too many of them gratuitous and totally unnecessary, making 2 simple phone calls ought not to break the threshhold.

Self-interest time: at hotel/residential incalls, it will prevent potentially embarrasing situations such as the hobbyist ringing the doorbell while the provider is still in the bathroom and unable to respond immediately, and passersby  wondering what's going on, etc...  The provider will be able to await the arrival of the hobbyist and wisk him in with no fuss or bother.  I see this as a win-win situation.

If nothing else, it's a simple common sense practice.

As a client, you should understand that the provider needs to feel safe and secure.. and anything you do to follow her rules will allow this to happen!

The fact that you are interested in getting around this would not set well with any provider and she may refuse to see you!
