Arlington is a county...a very large one at that...consisting of about 26 square miles.  If you could narrow down your area of interest, than maybe we could provide you with more responses.

You can't go wrong with either.

I have 2 suggestions, one in Arlington, and one in Georgetown, which is in DC, but very close to the Rosslyn area of Arlington.

1) Liberty Tavern (Arlington)

2) Sequoia (Georgetown, DC)

I think Liberty Tavern has better food, but Sequoia has nice views and more outdoor seating

Arlington is actually a pretty large area. The Green Pig Bistro and Lyon Hall have already been suggested and are both worth a stop. Liberty Tavern and Tallula are in the same general area and are also great. But all of these places (and most other nicer brunch spots) are in the North Arlington area near Wilson Blvd between the Ballston and Courthouse neighborhoods... usually not where you will find most of the hotels.

Tallula - Great Food

Liberty Tavern - Nice buffet style brunch from really great restaurant http://thelibertytavern.com/download/thelibertytavern-brunch-menu.pdf

Green Pig Bistro - Good Food, smaller location

Lyon Hall - Hit or miss service but generally good food and a large outside dining patio area

You could take the Metro to King Street in "Old Town" Alexandria and enjoy a great brunch at Vermillion.

If you want to venture into the District, then you may wish to check out Tabard Inn:

Enjoy you visit.

The suggestions you've gotten for Arlington are all good...   my favorite is Liberty Tavern - get the buffet.

If you want to go into DC, check out Georgia Browns

Not that this is super useful to the topic, but at just under 26 square miles, this a tiny county.  In fact, Arlington is the 4th smallest county by area in the United States

Haha I try to not give out specifics and the answers have been great! I have a car and I'm not opposed to driving a bit for a good brunch!

Liberty Tavern has good standard American food.
If you want something different also in Arlington try Cassat's it a kiwi joint lots of different good choices.

a little further but easy to get to on the metro:

Montmarte, french, awesome and in Eastern Market neighborhood where there is a open air market and cool neighborhood.  I think you're from Boston and this has a South End/back bay feel.

Best brunch in general is a little harder to get too at Farmers, Fishers Bakers.  on the water, cant eat outside,  georgetown waterfront great on a nice day.  All fresh, wide variety from best sticky buns, sushi, and traditional stuff

if you like sushi, Perry's rooftop bar in Adams Morgan is a DC classic

Enjoy.  fyi the other arlington places are pretty bland/generic

I love Mimosas!!! Love a fab place to have brunch & check out HAWT GUYS!!! Lol woo whoo!!!!
