So many countries around the world are in such dire states.  Its almost depressing to see how many people around the world live in such states of duress and or slum like conditions... not to mention even in war zones.  I am thankful that I live in a country where my life is in my hands and it can be as bountiful and as beautiful as my imagination can take it.  We have clean running water (well better than a lot of countries..lol), an abundance of food (ESPECIALLY TODAY...HA HA).  We don't have to wake up to bombs being dropped or gunshots richocheting through our neighborhoods & homes.  The list goes on of what we should be thankful for in comparison to where we could have been born at as a child.

Happy Thanksgiving & enjoy being a citizen of the U.S.A.  Get your slice of the pie! (literally and figuratively...Ha Ha

First off, I'm thankful to be alive and healthy.  I'm also thankful for my wonderful family,  friends and lovers. Thankful to have more than I could ever need in life and I'm happy for all the kindness, love and support I have from so many people :)
Ahhhhh..... :) life is good :)
Hugs, kisses and much love

I like your list Tony - well except for #3.  Sound minds are highly overrated.  And boring.  And predictable.  ;-)

I would add - I'm thankful for all the cool folks on the boards that have provided many hours of entertainment, comradery, and intellectual discussion.  And trainwrecks - those too.

And to the lovely ladies that have indulged my body and my mind.  And my uh... unique sense of humor.  I am more thankful than you may ever know.  Life is tough, some days more than others - and having an excited partner waiting to see you with a big hug and a smile can make you forget about the bad stuff pretty damn quick.

Just the other day I jumped in my car (just a few hours before I had a hot date) and it was completely dead.  Would not start.  I even calmly (and not so calmly) explained the situation to my car (who until this particular point had been a true and reliable friend) that matters of romance, lust, and passion were in jeopardy if she wouldn't start.  And you know what?  She started.  That wonderful girl pulled herself together and purred like only smug hybrids can.  So I drove her to the shop, got her fixed for a paltry $370, considered myself lucky - and made my date.  And it was fucking epic.

And in the course of that time, I kept contact with my girl (my provider girl, not my car) who throughout it all was understanding and wonderful.  I toggled between I was going to have to cancel, then maybe I'd be late, to everything was fine and we were still on schedule.  And she was super cool with it all.  And I'll remember her kindness and understanding - that goes a very long way with me.

So whether you're dealing with a Prius or a hot lady - make sure that it's a super cool, understanding one that's got your back.

That's what I'm thankful for.

PS: Oh, there might be a pretty impressive shill come Friday.

PPS: That's called foreshadowing, kids!

Yes we have issues here but things are not as bad as many would want you to think.  This is still the best country in the world by far!
