This is my question. Most providers of higher quality need to see references. Not too generalize but most average providers do not. Does this mean that i must see average or slightly below average women to build up repore to see the higher end providers? Will this not turn the providers off when they make contact with your references and see that they are only slightly attractive? Is there a way around this? Also, what happens when providers want references from their particular city, one that i happen to be visiting and not accustomed too?? Does this whole process start over again??

mrfisher has provided good advice, take time and follow it!. Another tactic for you: is there a local, lively board in your area, whether it be TER or not? Are you in a position to say, "hi gals, I'm new, hoping to meet a great provider, and willing to share whatever information that can make this happen". You may be surprised by the response.
Of course if you haven't seen her, how do you know if she is "quality", or "average". Open up your horizons!!! You will also be surprised, and get past the reference problem.
And your twice stated quest for "above average" providers may have subtly shown in your past efforts and been perceived as problematic or unfavorable by the providers you have contacted, and served as further reason to pass on your requests.
