Happy Birthday day to the Marines.
Thanks to all the folks that fought (and continue to fight) to keep our country free.
Freedom comes at a high price and we must always be prepared to pay it. Otherwise it could be taken by force from us.
We have the best people, technology, and hardware in the world and we have the ultimate fighting spirit. But we always look to keep peace and help our neighbors and allies. That's pretty cool.
A wise man I knew (a Hungarian Jew who immigrated to this country to escape Soviet oppression) asked me once why Americans seemed to beat themselves up so much over every misstep our country has taken over the years. He said it's a great country. And there is even an easy test to tell. He said all you have to do is put a fence around your country and watch... Are people risking their lives to come in or to get out?
I'm glad vets everywhere have fought to make this a country folks flee to. Not from.

Just because there is only one day a year dedicated to all of you who serve, don't think for one moment that you are remembered only on 11/11. You are all remembered and thanked for all you do every day of the year.
Thank You Veterans. Each and every one of you is special and much appreciated.
..(past and present) for their sacrifice and the sacrifices of their families for supporting them in doing what they do to protect us many time from things that we will never know about and giving of themselves in ways we may never hear of. I love all those Men in Uniform, green, blue, tan, camo and always go out of my way to thank them whenever we cross paths at the grocery, convenience store, fast food wherever, Good Luck and Godspeed
