I've had two cases where a gentleman needed to cancel or cut the session short, both due to illness and both were really nice about it and gave me a cancelation fee. I myself needed to cancel on a client a few weeks ago an hour before our scheduled appointment due to sudden stomach issues, and he was also really cool about it. I gave him an extra hour when he rescheduled as an apology and thank you, I think I will adopt that as my unofficial policy should I ever need to cancel on a respectful client last minute in the future.

The dreaded drop. Who stood you up? Hope that you find a good one

In my case, the guy actually showed up, then apologized and walked away when I went down to greet him. He emailed me later to apologize and said he was experiencing a lot of emotional upheaval in his life. Sad, but don't schedule then. It doesn't excuse it, but maybe whoever this lady was couldn't go through with it for some reason, especially if she's new. Like most worthwhile aspects of life, this business is based on showing up and following through, and just like the rest of life sometimes someone doesn't hold up their end of the bargain. In almost a year of escorting this is the only time anything like that has happened to me. Hope you found a lovely lady to cheer you up!

If this guy got a good look at you, and turned down an encounter with you, he does need help.

Aww, you are too sweet! I was wearing a pretty fantastic dress, the blue polka dot one in my new candids actually. It's one of my favorites, it makes me feel like Elizabeth Taylor in the 1950s. I'm going to miss sundresses :(

So this gent emails and then texted me with all of his info this morning and wanted a pretty spontanious visit across town asap. He was well verified, so we agree on a time and I ask for his hotel addy. Nothing. i proceed to look like an idiot with multiple texts and a phone call of where should I come to meet him. Finally, I text him that he must've changed his mind because I had not heard back from him. And he still has not responded back lol.
Moral of the story~ PLEASE PLEASE let us know that you've ~changed your mind--jacked off and no longer need our company--hotel flooded out or tree fell on it--power/cell phone tower went out, etc.
I don't charge a cancellation fee--but I was pretty ticked off that he didn't even have the decency to just say "Hey, I'm sorry, this won't work out today"
Works both ways--so I truly feel all the guys and the gals that have been in this YMMV position. I've said it before and I will say it again. Communication is truly key.
