While it's a good idea to follow up with a call/text/email, please DO NOT give out your client id via these methods.

The exchange of that information (the client id) should be done specifically through the P411 system (private message on P411 Request), to prevent it from falling into the hands of a "collector". This is the very best way to ensure that the person on the receiving end is a P411 provider, and not someone looking to cause harm in the community.

A collector is a person who sets up a fake ad, with the specific intent of having clients send them their active client ids. The collector can then use that active client id to book appointment with providers, in the hopes that they will not be asked to log into P411 (they can't, because they don't have the password) to prove his identity. Collectors are people who have the intention of causing a provider harm, and both sides of the fence needs to protect themselves

Sent out 12 messages on p411 to DC ladies, asking their availability. Only two got back to me.  

Shouldn't I use p411 to send the initial contact message

Their profiles will indicate when they last logged on to the system. Some of them don't check their P411 messages often. If they have logged on and viewed your profile but didn't reply, maybe they don't like your profile or you don't have enough OK's. It happened to me a few times (I have more than enough OK's so I assume they don't like my profile). No big deal, just move on. Plenty of fish in the sea as the cliche goes.

Please note that P411 Requests usually go directly to a provider's own email address (although she can change that setting, if she wishes).  

Private Messages stay on the P411 system, and are often considered casual chit chat, so are not as well responded at times.

We suggest sending two requests, and following up with another form of communication before reporting the nonresponse. At which point we'll send a reminder, that answering Requests is considered good business practice (though not required).

If you are a p411 member with okays by all means use p411 to make the first contact!
That's what you are paying for as part of your membership!  

My suggestion however is to send a pre-screening request or actual Request for appointment form on there  

 

I do know for a fact if you send one of those and the lady doesn't respond within FOUR days, you can  let p411 support know and they will deactivate the ladies account (it's p411's policy that we are to RESPOND to All Appointment Requests )  and they Require the lady to contact p411 to re-activate it.  We don't get in TROUBLE, just a friendly business reminder to RESPOND WITHIN 4 Days :D

Ladies get a Free membership on there , and all they ask us to do is respond.  Sounds like not too much to ask for, right?  

I'm not sure about a basic PM on there though , if that same policy exists.   I think it's just for the Appointment Request Form.    So next time, use that for sure!!!   And yes, you can send out 12 requests.  Just note on there that you have flexibility based on their  schedule , etc etc and then you should expect responses from a lot more!

That request goes to her regular email.  If you send a private message, it requires her to log onto P411 to look at it.

We don't actually suspend accounts for non-response to Appointment Requests, but we do send out a friendly reminder that providers are expected to be responsive to all inquiries.

We DO suspend accounts for 4 days of non-response to Okay requests, though! :)
