I have friends that don't do references, however, I think this is a shame. We should all go the extra mile to keep the sisterhood safe from dangerous situations. Even if I stopped providing, I would still try to lend a hand..

I always check my perspective client's references, and am having a hard doing this right now. The ladies are now posting on BP which is worth ziltch to me when it comes to verifying the integrity of the provider. I have had good luck with TER and P411 for Provider verification, but only the well established ladies seem to be using it, whist the up and coming providers never got a chance to develop some roots there.  I know of some sites that have saved the cached pages of old reviews, but there is no longer a way to verify those reviewers.  :( Thanks, any info helps!

I do disagree that ladies on BP are worthless as far as references go. I advertise on BP, Eros and Slixa. I get a great portion of my clients from BP and so far they have been all gentlemen and respectful of my need for references.

I also know a couple other high end providers who advertise on BP and do well also (and I mean girls charging $400 and $500.) If you look at the way a person writes, and look to see if she has a website, I am sure you will get a good deal of safe, reliable references. Just ma two cents.

Well, you are well known :) I'm talking more about verifying the ladies that didn't quite get a chance to become well known prior to the shutdown. I also advertise on BP, along with here, and P411. In my eyes, you are very easy to verify not only for your reputation but for the other sites, in addition to BP that you choose to advertise in.  Thanks for your input :)

I have had several requests as of late from gents who only used that other site for their hobbying.  All of their references are from there and when I try to find them on other sites, such as this one, their reviews are 2+ years old.  I have decided to utilize work verification, very discreetly and the gents, thus far, have totally understood.

This is going to be a tough time while people try to get established again.  While I do not advertise on bp, I do not have a problem with a bp reference, as long as she has a posting history (which you can usually discern from the bottom of their bp ad), with said site.

Go with your gut.  Always......

I Am also figuring that if we providers stick together we can become more familiar with even more ladies of the community through degrees of separation, making our safety network stronger. I never thought about the post history thing on BP, that's helpful info. Thanks.

we, as a provider community, help each other out, especially if ladies from that other place are feeling lost.

I save my provider correspondence, so I am fortunate to have some ladies' information who are not yet established here available to me.  I am a stickler for references, and safety for all parties involved, so yes....

Always happy to help, as long as one doesn't waste my time LOL.....

One thing I have noticed since the demise: many ladies that I have contacted, who are reputable, refuse to act as references. I understand that this may be because they feel betrayed by their regulars (I'm assuming), but it really puts a dent in keeping other ladies safe and neglects post-client relationships.

This is where I'm really learning the value of P411 -- quick set up and women have an incentive to give an 'okay'.

I've never liked work verification, because it feels like a massive responsibility to safeguard that information with the commonality of info hacking. In addition to this, it doesn't give a full picture of how the connection might play out, whether they are honest, and if they are respectful of ones time.  

When comparing BP girls, maybe do a google image search and see if any other sites pop up -- Slixa ranks pretty high in SEO, I wouldn't be surprised if other sites are joining in.

Denying references? I know some ladies used to refuse references based on the services provided from that particular lady (such as rbgfe, but how will they tell now unless they have a vip?), but blatant denial? I would think that would show up as ugly to the client. I think encouraging your clients to explore other ladies should they feel the need to do so keeps the community flowing and growing.  

It also strengthens ones own business practices such as preventing ones own laziness and familiarity with the client. I much rather prefer provider verification because of the accountability situation. I once even had to call a provider back and tell her her client was misbehaving lol, and i would appreciate the same in return so that i can update my reference info. Just because he might behave with me, doesn't mean that his behaviors with others doesn't count.

That happened to me once, years ago.

I had just seen a well reviewed lady from the now shutdown site, pages and pages of glowing reviews, everyone liked her on the boards.  Sent over my references, got screened, and had a good session, but  a little far for me to see on a regular basis.

A week later I decide to see someone closer to my area.  I used the provider I last saw as a reference with the new girl.  The new girl contacts me and says that the other lady was a bit hostile and claimed she destroyed all information, so she couldn't possibly remember me. Wow whatever, I went ahead with some other references and never bothered to see or followup with the first provider.

My experience has been that most ladies will gladly provide a reference.  But I've read accounts where some ladies won't for fear of losing a regular or just down right feel competitive.

I'm sure others can tell similar tales.

I have on occasion had another provider say she doesn't give references. I for one believe in sharing the joy so long as I don't have to jump through hoops to verify that the lady contacting me is legit.  

Ladies, please, when you're asking for a reference send a link to your ad(s), even if you think the lady should know you...it saves time and energy for everyone, especially now when so many of us have scattered to the winds.

What are the incentives? I am curious because use p411.

Women get "points" that are equal in their weight to a dollar. From here they can use this value to upgrade their posts, get photo verified, and have their ad featured.  

For the men, having the okay system keeps a track record of the ladies who have said -- he's 'okay' Girls can also line this up with who the girls have given 'okay'(s) to in the past and can determine if it's a good fit. What I especially like is that if a provider disappears their okay's remain. In addition to this, guys request the okay -- so they can manage who their 'okay' (s) come from.
