... I don't really mind the constant "Laffables" over my support of Netanyahu and I see no reason to back down from my perspective. Yes I support Netanyahu, because I believe his interests coincide with mine vis a vis the State of Israel. And in my point of view, Americas interests and Israels are in alignment, despite the current chill between Obama and Netanyahu.

But that has nothing to do with my preferred choice for POTUS. Yes, I am a supporter of Jerry Brown. Have been since my days as a student involved in politics at the state level.(California College Student Government Association). I worked with the man personally. His political maneuvers might have shifted a bit since the 70's, but he's still essentially the same guy I looked up to back then, and one of the few political "guru's" I have any respect for.

I'd probably have supported a proper Joe Biden candidacy as well.

Regardless of who winds up in the White House, America desperately needs someone in charge who is free of the taint of corruption or scandal. Or at least doesn't have it oozing out of their pores and lymph nodes.

If I remember correctly, Jerry Brown. And, I could go along with that choice.

25% chance of becoming POTUS. Just saw this on CNN. Make of that what you will.

As of now. To quote those great philosophers Jagger & Richards: "you can't always get what you want".

Number crushing political pundits don't have a grasp on the heart beat of America.

Nate Silver has a very good record of predicting the outcome of elections

... so I'm just going to sit patiently and enjoy my popcorn until the finals.

I still think that regardless of all the running around and flapping of arms and jaws and rendering of hair and clothing at the concept of a Trump election, this Presidential General Election always has been and remains Hillary Clinton's to lose.

Admittedly, she's doing an outstanding job convincing more and more people shes NOT the right person for the job.

I'm far too cynical to believe we have a positive way out at this stage without some drastic alteration to our path as a nation. And anything that drastic would never fly in this polarized climate
