... i make no judgement on the case itself; I'm only surprised it took him this long to try to capitalize on the affair in some way.
Selling off the weapon used fits right in with a niche collectors market that pays big bucks for this type of merchandise.
Want to make a statement?? Get those do nothing fuckers in Congress to pass legislation outlawing the this type of profiteering.
