If the electorial college does not select a President (or Vice P.) and it goes to the House. It's not each Congressman casting thier vote for President. It's each state delegation casting one vote. I think it has only happed once in the history of the US Constitution.

Dates where the incumbent party in control of the White House lost. I think you can back even farther. The one common thread is the economy, more specifically a recession. If we are not in a recession, then Clinton wins.
I totally understand why a segment of the conservative base, specifically the fiscal side, would opt for Clinton (Devil you know vs the devil you don't). Even though Clinton has doubled down on Sanders stupidity through the primaries (free shit for everybody, corporations are evil), she will tack to the center in order to win the Independent vote, which is the largest bloc of voters. I don't think this faction of the Republican base needs to encourage a third party candidate to peel off Trump votes to ensure a Clinton win.
I would tell Clinton to tell Sanders and Warren to STFU. Read Warren's latest tweets. That shit just feeds into Trumps game plan. I would also tell Clinton watch what you say. Her latest comment about Trump "I have a lot of experience dealing with men who go off the reservation". I get the fact that Native Americans went ballistic with that comment, but 99.9% of guys interpreted that comment to mean, "shit, I caught with some strange" (lol).
