Did the indoor rock climbing with 2 providers....had a great time...It was OTC obviously. I have a couple of provider friends that we get together frequently for social outings, however we are all single, so there is no significant other "stories" that we have to cultivate..lol

The question of friendships between providers and hobbyists comes up all the time, there is no rule that says you can't be friends with a like minded individual, and it isn't always about the donation.....

Would anyone here ever consider going on a "Groupon Date"? You know, one of those mystery dinners, byob painting classes or indoor rock climbing even? Why or why not? If yes, what would it be?

I can dig a "groupon date". I'm down to try almost anything once :)Personally, I would  like the "groupon" date to be as much a surprise as possible; just to add a little extra spice and suspense. My personal choice for would be a social dancing type deal. One because I can't dance at all and two it could be a lot of fun and a bit different.

Great topic, by the way Caylee.

But I would have to do it more like Airmantroy said. I would gladly pay for a groupon with that time considered off the clock, all the while knowing that there was going to be some envelope time after. I think it would be a very fun and different way to break the ice before a get together. Might help produce that spark, sometimes a little more time outside of any nervous energy is helpful.
