Do you have friends or acquaintances on the  Atlanta's board?

When I first started to hobby,  I thought all the guys are a bunch of anonymous guys with only links their keyboards and the Ter server.

Later on, with time, I realize that for some of us, it  wasn't only virtual. There are some guys who really know some of the participants on the Atlanta boards.

In my case, I really don't know anyone on this board. Besides here on Ter and the Ladies I see, I can't even talk about the hobby. Are you like me?

For those of us who have friends/acquaintances on the Atlanta's board, do you sometime hang out together without the ladies, just to talk about the the hobby, about life?

Thanks.

and since I am "out" I have many people that I talk to the "hobby" about, but mainly fellow whores and whore mongers as most people can't really relate to P4P or understand that many of my best friends are hookers.

Maybe that is exactly what you need, a friend. Not that I am volunteering for the job, but it might help getting rid of that "anger and bitterness" if you had a sounding board besides these forums.

One other thing you might consider is getting yourself screened for a M&G, this way you can meet with a lot of like minded people all at the same time. I know some of us can be a bit harsh on the boards, but putting a face to a name might be helpful for you. I would start with some of the "nicer" guys here first though. Someone like BigJoe is going to be a lot gentler with his words to you than an asshole like me. Someone like me is going to tell you "like it is" All I can say is "baby steps" lol

I have met a couple socially and at a M&G. But did have 2 guys who were my weekly happy hour buddies who I found out were into Ter.They played- but do not post. But I do still have great relationships with some of the ladies. My first Atf I have lunch with a few times a year and she has been retired for a number of years.

My suggestion is to give something with no expectation of getting something back.

Write a review or two, toftt and let us know what happens.
Go to a meet & greet  and say hi!  Book someone from said meet and greet the next week.
If somebody posts an iso, help them out.

Just be cool and don't gossip and you will have as many friends as you can handle.
There are many great and wonderful people here.

Good luck and remember to have fun.  Let us know what happens.

Just don't unless:

1.  You have been doing this a while (years not months).
2.  You really have nothing to lose.  One BSC will ruin your whole life...
3.  You get a real thrill from it.... - in which case - bon appetit, god speed and just let us know how it went...

You may notice a theme here - the peanut gallery will cheer you on if you let them... after all, it's not them that's going to be OZed...

guys are nuts, stalkers, whack jobs, etc, but never BSC. Don't ask me why, it's just one of those things that "is". lol

Sorry for the late response - busy couple of weeks. Grand Daddy taught me the three immutable truths of life:
1. Trees are wood.
2. Men are pigs.
3. Women are bat shit crazy.
It has taken me a long time to thoroughly test his theorem - but he was right.

I have a lot of people on here who I consider as a friend. Of course, there are a few guys I know for a long while don't post anymore. My advice is be yourself. No one likes someone who is phony or fake.

Also, attend a meet and greet event. JimmyPW and Sunny throws great meet and greet. They are friendly and helpful; however, you do need to get screened by them in order to attend. Also, the ladies and guys there are friendly and even helpful to you in order to be successful in the hobby.

Also, send a nice introduction pm to a hobbyist. I am not saying to bug the guy but offer a standard hello or even ask a question to him and start from there. However, the main thing is be yourself. You are going to make mistakes on top of mistakes in the hobby. Hey, when we first got started and maybe now, we made mistakes. We are human and that is our daily walk in life; however, the goal is to grow from it a be better from it.
