As BwB said, getting the general location is important. That way I can plan my departure time and decide how I'll get there (car or metro). But I don't need the hotel name until I get to the area. On that topic, I really like getting that information by text. That way I don't have to write it down someplace that could be found, and I won't forget it. Same with the room number. Am I the only one who sometimes forgets the room number 2 minutes after being told? =)
It is rare that I meet an escort without an agency or website, and rarer that I would go to Dupont Circle, but Michelle, http://www.eros-dc.com/files/450667.htm , had very nice reviews and she sounded very nice on the phone.
So making a 10AM appointment, (she said she starts at 9AM) I told her I would call at 8:30am for the address since I needed time to take the subway. I asked if she wanted reference, and she said no-kinda odd.
So at 8:30 I called-No answer. Two text messages and 7 or 8 phone calls over the next 2 1/2 hours got no response. Since I only spoke to her for two minutes to make the appointment, I fail to see how I could have irritated her (I didn't).
It's just rude behavior, but YMMV.

I have a regular who did not answer the phone around noon. I finally was able to get a hold of her at 1300. Found out she had been a sleep. I could tell because she had a sheet over the bird cage in her room lol.
She shouldn't have taken the appointment if she wasn't going to wake up the next day til several hours after the appointment. Then again, young girls don't exactly come with maturity
And get the room number when you get there. However, in your case, it was a good thing that you didn't have the address; otherwise you would've gone downtown.

...the genral vicinity yes, but not my incall address or hotel address. The gentemen receive the information ithe morning, once they have reconfirmed the night before. Once they arrive, or have parked then they get my exact location/room number.
......because she did not ask for references. While gentlemen often provide them, I rarely contact them, as a gentleman's place of employment, and other information I can verify is much more important to me.
Also if I know I have a 10am I know how to promptly check/keep an eye on my phone or emails especially if I'm aware they'll be contacting me at 8:30am. Curious why it was odd she didn't ask for reference ... did see screen you by other means or not at all?

Unfortunately TER allows providers the access to their reviews and if they buy VIP they can have the same access as hobbyists. I have already seen providers discussing blacklisting hobbyists that give them less then a solid rating or write something negative about one of the providers that they reviewed. That is bound to keep many of us from writing about a so-so or straight-forward negative experiences even if its under alias especially with those providers that have many better reviews and are probably busy figuring out who is who on the Providers only forum.
I know I just submitted a review of a provider and I rated her honestly (and basically positively) but there were certain things that I didn't include just because I was afraid that if she ever read it - she's be able to put two and two together to figure out who I was and I just wasn't prepared for that. Now, after finding out about this I probably just would no longer post any straight forward negative reviews and just limit myself to spreading the word in between other hobbyists I knew. I wish providers didn't have access to reviews, especially the ones of themselves. That would make reviewers much more honest and maybe even prevent TER from being threatened by those providers that didn't like what they read about themselves and demanded for a review to be taken down.

I have a similarly bad experience with someone two weeks ago, but that woman emailed me later and we exchanged a few conciliatory emails. Michelle just disappeared and blocked my phone.
The appointment was for 10AM, since she starts at 9AM.

she could have over slept as someone mention, or something could have happened. Unfortunately her actions or lack of actions is out of your control. But you do have control over where you spend your money. I won't give it anymore thought and find someone whom you may feel would be more considerate
she was probably 50 lbs over weight and smelled like rotten tuna so you are actually lucky you didnt see her.
the few times it happened to me I was trying to see travelling ladies for the first time. in each instance I wound up seeing someone I knew and had good time so it became a positive.
