I suspect he only reads the headline and draws a conclusion from it.
That apparent conclusion is usually not even close to what he thinks or wants the full text of the article to be about.

Finally, someone in the media who's willing to say that one of the major problems in this country is the media. The Founding Fathers were smart when they wrote right into the Constitution that no American will be granted the title of Nobility. But these days, nobility has been replaced by celebrities driven by TV media sensationalism.
Bernie Sanders keeps talking about how we need to break up the big banks, but how about we break up big media? I mean do we really need three channels of 24/7 news? It's not even news, it's just political hacks flapping their gums and spewing out their own propaganda and calling it news. I'd rather have one hour of boring ass Peter Jennings on the ABC Evening News or Dan Rather on CBS just reporting the fucking news without some fucking hack on the side giving his worthless brain dead opinion on the subject
