she is getting her legal team in place, actually I suspect they have been there all along.
 
Gotta wonder what Bryan Pagliano told the FBI...with immunity he must have spilled his guts.
 
Cannot wait til she gets called in for an interview.
She can lie to the press but if she lies to the FBI that will be even bigger trouble.
 

When will hillwhorie stop calling this a "security review" and call it what it really is  
A Criminal investigation ?

Why? Obama is POTUS and knows more than anyone else about the FBI and DOJ investigation of Hillary's emails. Obama is quietly maneuvering behind the scenes and imploring Democratic donors to stop supporting Bernie and unite behind a single candidate, Hillary Clinton. Obama is clearly invested in electing a Democrat in general and Hillary Clinton in particular to continue his legacy, there’s simply no way he would risk putting his thumb on the scale for a candidate who might be essentially disqualified if she had to run the last stage of her campaign from a jail cell. With all that in mind, it’s difficult to conclude anything other than a presumption that Obama knows that Clinton will face no such peril. Sorry righty's, your wishes will not be answered, it's just the way Washington works

While the DOJ so far has claimed the criteria for such an appointment does not exist, I am at a loss to understand that given the close personal relationship between the president and hillary. If the FBI presents evidence of a criminal violation, a big if, I don't see how a special counsel could not be appointed.

And his investigation would not be completed by the election, so there are obvious horrible consequences.

..........20 years at least! The office of special prosecution, IMHO, has been irrevocably damaged by Ken Starr and his endless investigations of Whitewater and all the conspiracy charges associated with it. The only charge special prosecutor  Ken Starr could muster against Bill Clinton was lying under oath about receiving a blow job from Monica L. Chance of an SP being appointed by this administration are ZERO.

Valerie Plame leak. The suspects ranged from Karl Rove, Richard Armitrage, and Dick Cheney to Scooter Libby, all persons with deep ties to the Bush administration. The special counsel got an indictment and conviction of Scooter Libby, not for the underlying crime but for lying under oath.

         Why does Scooter get a special counsel and not Hillary? What is the difference? We already know she received classified info - we don't know her intent.

       The case for appointment is far more compelling as to Hillary - if Hillary is elected president, she may appoint AG Lynch as her Attorney General. How can we possibly have an AG who might get a job from Hillary be the one to decide whether to appoint a special counsel to investigate her

We want the FDA and other regulatory agencies to be staffed by experts in the field, so employment with a regulated company is a plus, not a minus. Once the regulator leaves government employ, there are restrictions- no lobbying of the agency for three years or whatever it currently is.

        But the special counsel regs say the AG should appoint a special counsel if there is a conflict of interest with respect to the case. All I’m saying is, how could there not be a conflict of interest if the person under investigation has the power to reappoint the Attorney General

This is nothing new for Bill or Hillary Clinton.
They been around for a long time and have a army of supporters.
So with the rise of Trump, more people will make sure Hillary becomes President in the fall.
It will not just be President Obama, pushing this for her either.

I think he knows much more than we do, and would not bet on a loser. Besides, what did they do to Petraeus when he knowingly, and willfully gave top secret info to his lover; a slap on the wrist. That doesn't seem to give a strong incentive to pursuing a case against Hillary. To do so will look like just one more witch hunt.

What makes you think I think it is imminent? I have no more information than anyone else here.
 Just because that is what I want to happen does not mean I think I will happen.

Having said that, do not let that stop you from pretending to know everything.

I'll be (pleasantly) shocked if she does get indicted.  But I wonder what justification they will offer for declining to indict?  Whatever it is, it will set quite a precedent, if we believe the reports of her emails.

If the fbi director makes a stink about her not being indicted, that would put her in more political jeopardy and extend the story.  

Legally, she would be ok, but there would be even more damage to her credibility, if that is even possible. LOL
