He's just playing to the crowd. And there's nothing wrong with monitoring Muslims. After all, not even the craziest bible thumpers do this.

and that's what's scary. It's Trump that is "playing to the crowd" I am 99.9999999999999999% certain that Cruz is deep down even worse that his public persona, while Trump IMO would just as soon these "moral" issues would just go away.

Trump would monitor Muslims as a matter of practicality, Cruz is jerking off over the prospect of leading this "Christian Nation" of ours into a 21st century holy war akin to the Crusades, but in an era of WMD's and suicide bombers.

"radicalized", fucking spare me

only the stupid and evil make that comparison

Well, actually two. He's a major hypocrite, and he wants to dictate what goes on in our bedroom. He wants a small Federal Government, but a very intrusive one. But, in reality you can't have both.

Just a sampling of what we can expect from a President Cruz. Cruz is an outright religious nutcase.  He is in fact no different than a radical Islamist in this regard, in that he believes and will in fact go to court to force you to behave in the privacy of your own home as he believes you should.

Cruz, along with now Gov. Greg Abbott, who was then the state's attorney general, attempted to uphold a Texas law that prohibited the sale of sex toys in the state.

As part of the legal argument, Cruz's office wrote that, 'There is no substantive-due-process right to stimulate one's genitals for non-medical purposes unrelated to procreation or outside of an interpersonal relationship.'

A number of businesses began challenging the law after a Texas mother was arrested by two undercover cops for throwing a party and selling vibrators and other wares through Passion Parties, which is, like Corn explained, 'akin to a Tupperware party for sex toys.'

Got it?

This wasn't even the conduct of a business in a public place, it was a Tupperware-style party when the "business" was transacted inside a private residence.

Yet Cruz argued that you had no right to engage in that commerce in a private residence because you have no due-process right to stimulate your own genitals for non-medical purposes unrelated to procreation.
