I haven't been to Follies in a long time, but the Oasis has always been my favorite. I've never had a bad time. 
The more the merrier
O is a little classier, but, if you can sort through the myriad of dancers the private room can be rewarding.
Follies is wild. One of the most risque stripper clubs going on day shift (I do not think they want to intrude on the Cheetah, Oasis, and Pink Pony business at night for fear of pressure from LE) . Lap dances and touching allowed on the floor. Great place for fun, but personally think if the lights were turned on in the place it would be less than clean.
Follies is like two clubs, one dayside and one nightside. I stop by every few months during the day, and have always had a great time. The ladies have been attractive, friendly, and accommodating... frequently very accommodating. I've had my hands placed on the "fun parts" by the dancer's themselves during table dances, which is very different from my experiences at other clubs.
I've asked dancers and waitresses what the place is like at night, and they all said it's more cut-throat, with the dancers only out for themselves. My guess is that the negative reviews of Follies are probably based upon night visits.

Follies day shift is the place to go. While I heard that oasis has changed a few of their rules, follies is better because the dances are more intimate and VIP rooms are cheaper than oasis. Now, some of the exotic dancers at follies are going to oasis.
However, many dancers from majority of the top clubs in Atlanta are going to follies. The key is go to day shift because they are more laxed than at night. Also, the earlier you go the better to get great seats. Try going in the weekdays and saturday from 11am to 1:30pm for some of the good seats.
If you do decide to go at night, go from 8pm to 9:30pm for good seats. Any time after will result in having a hard time to find seats. The girls at follies are great at dances, but you have to decide on the right girls that suits you. The reason why alot of the exotic dancers kinda flaked because either the guy bluntly say something out the way or asked too many questions such that they feel like the guy might be LE
...Oasis has small rooms for $25 for 30 minutes. Larger rooms $40 for 30 minutes. I don't recall Follies being cheaper than that.
I used to work at Follies and I refuse to step foot in there...totally classless club nowadays! I spend my time, and money, at Oasis!
I have visited a great many strip clubs in atl and I can tell you as for solid good looking variety of ladies and mileage for your money Follies by far is the best. The atmosphere can be a little overwhelming with smoke and marijuanna but its safe in all the right ways. The Security guards dont rush over and break contact when a girl places your hands on her ass or boobs and most of them are all about getting close and personal for the 10 bucks.
My only warning is that the girls will continue dancing through song after song trying to tally up the count so pay attention if one song ends understand that a new song is a new $10 and let the girl know to stop or continue.
