Sorry, but being a longtime AMP customer and having many lady friends who have owned and managed such establishments, the current "human trafficking" hysteria is a lot like global warming - a lot of overblown hysteria by people with their own agendas to peddle. 99% of the women who work in AMPs know damn well what they are doing and choose their profession on their own free will.

have abusive practices, I have gotten to know a few gals who worked these places, and believe me they are very grateful to be here in this line of work rather than slaving away at a textile mill in Seoul where sexual assault by bosses is all too common and they don't get tipped for that.

It's relative but we have to be a bit practical.  Yes, the gals do stay overnight at the parlors, so that they can spend more time working and not have to worry about transportation.

Many salt away lots of money and then get their own apartments and go to school, learn English, and start other businesses.

I don't have any moral reservations about going to AMPs in general.

I agree with mrfisher. I've frequented AMPs in a few different cities, like SF, where we tend to have a lot of choices. In fact one of the more infamous joints was actually on TV for the last couple years worth of stuff they went through. The show even had someone talking about this topic, it may have been The Polaris Project.

There certainly seems to be some differences in AMPs that become apparent quickly. It's either that or the nicer high end ones are just way better at covering this up, but they generally seem to get girls who enjoy the biz as they say.

All in all I say: Do your research. Read reviews. Avoid places like they mention.

I'm also curious how long ago this was written. It mentions a lot of girls work past 2 or 3AM. Which is odd because I've lived in a few different major cities, all of which had laws that AMPs couldn't stay open past Midnight.
