Simply adding a reference to side or area to ad post subject/title can help.
NYC doesn't have a board for each area of NYC and they seem to do just fine.

...read the Self-Help Center to see how it's done. There isn't any reason for them to not have a photo in the ad. Self-Help Center is on the upper right of most discussion boards (including this one) directly under the red and white life preserver.
Define "hurt"? if you mean staying as a low-key low-volume board then sure why ever bother to evolve or improve...
I agree with all those (especially refugees from the defunct board) that this board is seriously lacking in sophistication and innovation.
But I really harbor NO ILLUSION whatsoever that things will ever change here. Take it or leave it I guess.
In the meantime let us just cross our fingers and hope the for second coming of the defunct board or something similar.
There are several new boards out there. Many were started by people who were members of the defunct board. Since TER is an upscale board, some people will never find what they want here. None of the boards allow "street action."
Since this board is not for street action people, I looked around and was able to find two of them started by refugees from the defunct board. I can't print the names of them but the guys who want that type of action should be able to find it now.
I'm surprised that a guy who claims to be a charter member of the defunct board can not find them on his own.
Anyway, I don't think anyone has any basis on which to say that nearly unnavigable ad sections hasn't hurt TER. Overall, TER seems plenty successful, but it's pretty likely that an ad section which helps clients easily find the providers they're interested in -- by definition, that should not mean having to click on scores of ads only to find that the woman doesn't physically match the customer's desires -- would make TER even more so. Anyway, just some insight into why I (and most others I've kept in touch with) don't rely on giant no-thumbnail ad sections
Don't forget the reviews section is one of the most customizable types of it's kind. You can narrow down search of reviewed providers to suit your personal likes and preferences.
If you were on the defunct board for any length of time, the ladies will tell you about them if you gave them an E Mail or text number. If I even hint at where they are, they will suspend me from posting. Search for ad boards to find ladies you have seen before and/or ladies who might recognize your handle. One group of refugees already has a board with 700 people in it.
