Just wondering because I know it happens on both sides of the fence, but what do guys and ladies do when they are stood up? I guess ladies blacklist. I think this is a situation where guys are disadvantage because you can't write a review when something didn't happen. As you might guess I set up a date and time with a lady, had a email confirmation it was on within 24 hours and then she didn't respond when I asked for directions. My situation aside I would like to hear experiences of others.
Seriously yo, they use that blacklist threat tactic to get away with just about anything. We can't win. Next thing you know you might be on some blacklist even when you were the one who got stood up and you post about it. Seriously yo, some of these girls are fucking crazy. Do you think a sane responsible professional would pull a NCNS on anyone? Truth is, they aren't responsible professionals. They do whatever the fuck they want.

If you're constantly getting threats of blacklisting, it might just be you and that attitude.
I do understand I am totally against providers who are irresponsible, train wrecks, unprofessional, inconsiderate and the list continues however.. Please do give this provider the benefit of the doubt for at least 72 hours so you can make a more precise judgement based on facts. If you do not hear from her or if she is not willing to rectify or explain whatever happened, you have every right to feel deceived, upset, disappointed etc.. I have NEVER pulled a NCNS on anybody, because I feel that courtesy works both ways but maybe I won't be exempt if I have an extenuating circumstance such a car accident or something that limits my ability to communicate but obviously I will get out of my way to discuss my circumstances in an honest and factual manner.. Keep us posted!
Shit does happen from time to time. Usually its fault of at least one of the person. Sometimes its just the circumstances. Since I usually only have outcalls to hotels, I stand a higher chance of losing money if I get stood up. Not the greatest thing in the world if you have already paid for the hotel, and are in the room.
For the same reason, I've a short list of independent providers who are willing to do outcall on a short notice. Now, not everyone does outcalls on short notice. Every provider has a business model they use. You need to cherry pick those who can fit the situation, and use it to your advantage.
I've to stress on the fact that my short list is of independent providers only, and not agencies. Back in the days, I used to use agencies all the time to get myself out of the fix. These days.....not so much.
I guess its the nature of the business.
in our "little world". Yes, the ladies are at disadvantage when guys write inaccurate and dishonest reviews. At the same time, the guys are at disadvantage when they get blacklisted for writing an honest review. Not to mention the fact that we can't write a review of a NCNS. So a girl may have raving reviews on her profile, but still could be pulling NCNS left, right and center.. How about when guys get pressured into giving a certain score or are threatened to be outed or blacklisted.
So yes... plenty of blame to go around... 
regardless of gender, and the good ones are greatly valued, regardless of gender.
That's on of the reasons I value a lady's whole package of reviews, not going overboard pro/con on any single one.
The inherent anonymity of this corner of the world does allow some bad elements to avoid their just deserts in some cases. A good info network is critical.
I've had multiple guys go further than just standing me up with no response when confirming. They go ad far as saying they are at the hotel and then never showing up to the door. Very odd and if just a creative way of ditching a date then very rude as during the hour of me texting and asking if everything was ok I finally had to just say hope you are ok and my hour was wasted worrying! Not fun and as I said incredibly rude. On top of it I truly enjoy spending time with people business aside...
She did eventually contact me and said she was sorry. I said not to worry about it and she said she hoped we could meet on the next trip. She was touring. I'm not so pumped to meet her though. There are many cute women out there and after an incident like this you just don't feel so inclined to take the effort to schedule another appointment. I'm not sure about other guys, but between work and traffic it takes planning to meet ladies.

I have only blacklisted serious threats.
No shows are just unfortunate circumstances. No money was lost, no one was hurt, everything is tranquilo.
