My best advice would be to be selective. Choose your provider carefully and make sure she's well reviewed. That's the best way to have a good time.

I'm very new to the hobby(about 6 months into it), and for the most part, I can afford only 1 appointment per month(although I am doing a few more this summer). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I can make the most of that one appointment per month. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

When I was young and poor (and stupid too, but that's another story) I could only see a provider rarely. Unfortunately I would often come very soon thus spoiling the event (MSOG was not a common practice way back when.) To offset this propensity of mine, I would often masturbate one to two hours before my date. This corrected the early ejaculation problem but tended to sap some of the zest out of the session.
In time however, I decided to experiment and found that by masturbating about 48 hours prior to a date, I got the perfect combination of being able to hold back as well as retain a keen interest in the event.
In time I learned how to further prolong the joyfullness by tantric practices and long foreplay (massage is the best).
I think that this period of poverty was a blessing in disguise for me as it taught me how to make do with limited resources which paid a big dividend when I started to become wealthier.

For me, it's been great to find one exceptional lady and spend my money there. I know what i'm getting and the opportunity to get to know a very interesting person is a definite bonus.
I jumped into being a hobbyist about 2 weeks ago and I find that I already have developed a bit of an addiction to my chosen girl. So far it's an addiction that I am enjoying very much...sort of my secret summer fling. I know I cannot keep up (financially) seeing her 3 times a week, but since I'm new I'm rolling with it and enjoying it tremendously. Get this, she needs new photos for her postings and since I've been such an enthusiastic admirer she's letting me take the shots! Now that's what I'm talkin' about! Must be my reward to being a good repeat customer. I learned a lot from this board about being thoughtful and bringing gifts before I even started, and it is paying dividends now. I am lucky to be a bit older (42) and to have some resources with which to dabble. I've been a good saver all my life, so a splurge for me to explore this new area is something I want to afford.
I agree with the others that you should be selective. Most importantly, be careful but ask some questions BEFORE the session, like does the lady allow multiple rings, or serve several courses, or however you want to put it in delicate and lawful terms. Really look at her website and you will see her personality and sense of playfulness come through. A very curt, robotic, and all-business site or response will give you a clue that the lady might be thus during your appointments. Find a few providers that you like and stick with them for a bit. As they learn more about you and your responses, they can better please you, darlin, and yes, even token gifts are thoughtful and appreciated. If you see one provider pretty exclusively, you might be able to work out a "repeat business discount" or get some "fringe benefits" like another gentleman mentioned. Not always, but sometimes. I would if you were a regular and frequent cliet. Have fun, hon.

At the start, you just can't get enough. But then you catch your breath. I also like to mix in some appointments at the local AMPs.
That means you have lots of time to do your homework.
Be honest with yourself: what do you want out of a session? We're not all the same.
Read reviews as a start, but even more important read what a provider posts. It is a window to her personality and you can tell a lot about what time with her will be like.
Write her a real letter e-mail. Not "Hi, how much for an hour next Thursday?" but one that gives her the screening info she asks for, tells her a little about you, and shows you have done your homework and really want to see HER.
Set the date a week in advance. The week lead-in will allow time for anticipation which will effectively lenghten the time you can enjoy the event.
Write a thank-you e-mail after the session. It too lengthens the event before it becomes "old history", to say nothing of paying dividends if you want to see her again.
It seems I quit the hobby for some reason, and 4 months later I binge. The cycle has been something like 5 appointments within 2 weeks, then stop for 4 months. Then the urge comes back.... Damn I wish I could quit this.
