Speaking of fireworks (well you kinda were) I accidentally found the greatest fireworks store in the world last summer. Was riding US-421 between Bristol TN & Boone NC ('the snake') which for my money is the second best ride East of the Rockies (US 250 Stanton VA to Huttonsville WV #1) when I stopped in Trade TN @ Woody's Fireworks. The folks there were awesome, just downright home spun & the selection was the best I have ever encountered, including some Class A (licence required but not requested) stuff. Like 6" aerial mortars. I ended up taking a weekend road trip back there in the truck (from Philly no less) to load up.
If you ride a bike the route is AWESOME and if you want fireworks and a great experience with some mighty fine folks, stop by and spend some time with Bobbie Jo and the fine folks @ Woody's.

Me? I gave blood, practiced at the gun range, then cooked out with friends who had a nice view of their neighborhood fireworks show.
Party wise, the wildest thing we did was drink some "Hop Hash" beer from Sweetwater, so I finally discovered my Hop limit.
Then, being nerds, we ended up reviewing and matching our favorite colors with their respective incendiary salt compounds - see link below.

What did y'all do?

Staying Home and cooking and cleaning.. BUT my neighborhood sounded like a war zone :)
