Wow! Great information.  I truly appreciate the help.

I have booked my trip to Dusseldorf in March.  I will not have a rental car, so I am now trying to find out how to get to clubs by public transportation.  Does anyone have train/bus/cab information on the following clubs:
Goldentime
Livingroom
Dolce Vita
Acapulco
Happy Garden

I am excited about the trip and will give a full report upon my return.  I appreciate all of the info I have gotten so far from this board!!

Really only two of these clubs are easy doable with public transport:

Livingroom: take S bahn 28 to Ikea Kaarst; from here it's a 10 minute walk, I would advise to spend the night at the ISA sporthotel (80 meters from the club), since the S bahn doesn't run that late and LR only starts going in the evening. It's 50 for a single during the week, but only 40 on weekends.

Dolce Vita: Take S6 to Duesseldorf - Reisholz, this one keeps going till pretty late I believe.

Acapulco: It's doable, but a pain in the butt. Take a train to Essen Hbf (or Wuppertal Vohwinkel) and change to the S9; you can get off either at Velbert Langenberg or Velbert Nierenhof... and transfer to either bus OV7 or OV8 (depending which train stop you chose)... be careful when planning this, because typically only one of the two train stops has a nice connection to a bus (sometimes Nierenhof and sometime Langenberg)... the busstop is 'Eintrachstrasse' and only a couple of minutes walk to the club. No hotels nearby btw.

Golden time: you take the 'eurobahn' towards the Dutch border. The closest stops are Boisheim and Breyell (with Kaldenkirchen the 3rd option)... but that still leaves you 6km from the club; Breyell and Kaldenkirchen (the last stop in Germany) sometimes have some cabs waiting, but you can't really depend on it. From Kaldenkirchen there is also a bus that stops at 'Tiergarten', which is almost on GT's doorstep... helas the connections between train and bus are pretty awfull.

Planet Happy Garden: virtually impossible with public transport. Depending on when you go, you need to get to Viersen or Krefeld bahnhof and then transfer to some irregular bus which stops at 'Graverdyk'... on the way back you'll definitely need a cab. If you really want to go here, I would take a cab from one of the main trainstations I mentioned.

Others you might want to try: Panthera in Duesseldorf, great food and great service levels at a great price (40E each)... a little less girls and maybe fewer real stunners though.

Magnum: S8 to erkrath and then a few km (probably best with taxi); relatively new club (it used to be 4 clubs with different specialities) about which I'm hearing a lot of good things lately; it's open till 7am and really gets going late (some girls arrive after 11pm).
