END OF MESSAGE

I received an email today soliciting contributions to help pay expenses for treatment for a serious medical malady.  Has anybody else received a similar request?  Does anybody know anything about this?

Yes, I received one as well.
Had only seen her once about 2 years ago.

I sent her an email back in December to see if we could meet.  She never responded and I never had the opportunity to see her.  Maybe this is when she started to get sick?

She did, however, send me the same email.  I hope she recovers fully.

There is also no gap in her timeline for reviews.  It's been pretty consistent since December.

Also, it was a different email... not [email protected].  Now I am guessing either she is scamming or someone got into her account and is scamming...  :)

Danger, Will Robinson.

Safe to assume that any of us who've seen her in the past are probably in her email contacts and have gotten this email.  For what little it's worth I'll add that Sabrina used that other email address (inadvertently or otherwise) with me more than a year ago when following up.  Doesn't necessarily mean it hasn't been hacked....

She answered me on the forwarding of the email, and she says she wishes it was a scam-- then she wouldn't be sick.

Oh....darn...wish she wasn't sick!  I tried to get a reference from her,  and had not heard back...sorry to hear she is ill.  GET BETTER SABRINA!  XOXOXOXOX

If you only received a response via e-mail, I would still be hesitant on it. If her original e-mail account was hacked, then there is a good possibility that the hacker still has access and can respond to messages. I would try to text or voice verify with her. I sent her a text yesterday in regards to this, and haven't heard back.

If Sabrina is sick, I truly hope she recovers quickly! She is a sweetheart!

A sweet provider I know sent a PM saying she had needed expensive medical care and the new Health Care law provided the coverage she needed, and offered to help Sabrina with how to navigate the system.  I have forwarded this offer to Sabrina.  One always wonders about scams, and until I get confirmation otherwise, I'll assume this is a scam.

This could be the answer to why I never heard from her these past couple of months.  I had sent her a couple of texts; we had seen each other over the past 3 years on sporadic, but constant, occasions.  I hope she's ok, or will be ok.

Bump.  Anyone hear from her lately?
