We are on day 5 or so of the new law. Discussion on this regional board seems quiet. On competing boards discussion is lengthy and all over the map. In terms or adjusting to the new reality, clients have done everything from announcing it's business-as-usual to their retirement.

I have developed my own strategy, more or less, going forward as to how to handle things. I was wondering how other clients were approaching this.

I live in a province that is relatively onside with the Conservative federal government about the new law, and I suspect there will be a push for vigorous enforcement.

In contrast, IMHO having lived there, I find BC has a culture of more respect for individual liberty, I anticipate enthusiasm for enforcement will be more blunted.

As for SPs, they are understandably concerned about how this will affect their livelihood, and if anything are conveying more outrage than the clients.

How are things shaping up in BC so far?

It seems to be business as usually except for some of the advertising websites. I don't think it really has changed that much but time will tell I guess.

Yeah, same in Winnipeg. Advertising on EC is way off, most ads seem to be on BP now. LeosList still not used much here.

I'm now going right to the provider websites for info more often.

Are you all still having good times, as usual?
