I've been seeing this ad for a while and decided to give her a call. She answered right away and we set up a meeting for about an hour later. She texted me about a half hour later and wanted to delay for another half hour, no problem. I waited and got to her address on time, texted her and got no response. I waited about 10 minutes, texted and no response. Waited 15 minutes, tried calling, no answer. So I shrugged and went home. When I got home, I texted her and told her there were not hard feelings and that I wasn't LEO, and if she wanted to try again I was game. She texted back "Well I am" I am what, LEO?
Why would she tell me that? I mean there was no indication of weirdness from either of us, at least I don't think so...
ME: "I saw your bp ad and would love to see you"
HER: OK, When
Me: "In an hour or so"
HER "OK, go to ... address at 7:00 and call me when you get there.
That's it, nothing more. What could have spooked her? I mean if she is indeed LEO, why would she tell me. If not, why wouldn't she just say, she doesn't want to see me.

As for dodging a bullet, I hope you've learned to at least TRY to stay away from the BSC contingent on BP. Last minute, unverified, unreviewed, appointments with BP girls are fraught with risk. Wasting an hour or two or your time is hardly the worst thing that could have happened to you. I think you paid a very small price to learn a very important lesson.
