I cut my hobby teeth in/with the DC AMP scene. Then some years back the DCMP went on an AMP rampage and pretty much shut the scene down in DC metro.
You still have some operating, few and far between, in the Va And Md suburbs but it's a crap shoot. With that said, I have not been to a DMV AMP in years. Some Asian agencies have come to the area but they are unreliable with scheduling appointments. You can try though at Skyden and Iluvhott. I do miss the hey day of the Asain AMP scene in DC. It was affordable, reliable and drama freeJust wondering. Haven't heard of one in awhile.

but I had no problem finding fun times at AMPS in the DMV.
