It's fabulous news that she's still alive, but I don't believe for a minute that she didn't know what was being said about herself and didn't do anything to stop the rumor. I know for some of gents here, it really seems kind of crazy and hard to believe, but it is true. Veronica was never killed in an accident in March, as was widely discussed and believed by everyone including yours truly.
It seems from what she said to me today, that she probably suffered what many providers who get that popular, have happen; BURN-OUT! No doubt she got off to a tremendous start with Pretty Maids (please don't hyjack this post to talke about PM's)
She continued from there without missing a beat. I have no idea what her schedule was, but I would consider her to be high-volume. She has no idea how the rumor got started and was not even aware of it unitl recently. She just decided to take a few months off and that is really all I know, without being a demanding messager (don't hyjack the messenger either folks).
I'm disappointed that some notice was not given to regulars, but then after several posts on the subject recently, I can certainly understand why. Providers do not owe us anything, other than a fantastic time, if they advertised such. However, when they're burned out it is time to rest, take down the web site, and turn off the phone. Pretty good gig if you can get it.
For me, I guess I am just glad she IS NOT DEAD. I thought about her kids, and how they must have handled it, etc.

I got the news yesterday, and had mixed emotions. Every time I drive past the alleged accident scene (couple time/week), I would think about those poor kids. Tremendously glad it's not true, but it's kind of a mean joke. For now, I'll sit tight until the rest of the story comes out.

On the messenger topic, it seems that she's been contacting voices from the past to announce her resurrection. Since I know that you're a regular on the General board, you'll understand my thinking regarding the whole screening topic. Guess she kept some history after all...makes me look kinda dumb.

I believe she didn't know. She doesn't have vip membership, her understanding of even e-mails she gets can get her a little confusing for her and I don't think she frequents the boards at all.
I had a hard time believing it in the first place but with the website and reviews down I just did. I'm just glad she called me to say hi.
I'm sure she will continue with her great service and life will just go on.
