What if she didn't ask for references or security?

I called a provider who was well reviewed expecting to have to jump through at least a small hoop since I'm a first timer.  She agreed to meet me for my requested time at her place on Monday, but she did not seem at all concerned with getting references or with checking me out for safety reasons.  I had written her a couple of e-mails before the call which may have softened the ground a bit.  Nevertheless, I am a stranger to her and I thought it was a bit odd to get a warm reception so easily.  Does anyone have advice or a sense of how legit she might be?  If she's not legit, how could there be so many reviews for her?  Would LE go through so much trouble as to post bogus reviews (on multiple sites I might add)?  Am I just a worry-wart newbie?

I can't speak for the provider, but probably you just made her feel safe enough with your e-mails, you silver sweet talking Devil!

who don't bother with references and personal information because they believe that they have the skill to ferret out LE and bad-news bears by talking and emailing.

So, if they have good reviews, you are probably OK, on the other hand, if it doesn't feel right to you, then you should continue to seek a provider with whom you will feel safe.

It's hard to have a satisfying experience if you don't feel comfortable.

I see a reputable provider who did not ask me for references as a first-time client.  I always thought it was strange.

I saw a recent review of her where it says she asked someone to provide references.  I hope it was pre-emptive.  I'd hate to think she got burned by LE.

The first provider I saw did not ask for references, nor did the last one I saw most recently.  Both were well reviewed, so I wasn't worried about LE.

Some providers just don't require screening.  I don't think LE would post a buch a fake reviews, but there are some other clues you can look for.  Look who is doing the reviewing to see if they have done more than just that one review.  Also, look to see if the reviews have accumulated over time.

Thanks for the help. I did look for multiple reviews by the same member and I looked for accumulated reviews over time.  Both checked out fine.  I'm going for it, and I appreciate your wisdom.

I've likely seen 30 or so providers here. The only other city I've hobbied in is Vegas, where I was indeed screened.

I always make initial contact via email, and use my real name, as well as some other safe info.  Maybe I actually have been screened and just don't know it.  It doesn't matter, my success rate is pretty good.

First, why so few reviews with that wealth of experience?  What city do they not ask for any references?  Sounds strange.  Is it a small town?  Do they require work verification instead?  Some will call work and verify you are employed there so they know u aren't LE.

I live in Reno. At any given time, there are about a dozen reviewed providers who are active.  They tend to jump in and out of the business frequently.  Alot of times they re-enter under a different name.

I know CL takes a beating most other places, but here in Reno, if you know how to use it, and are patient, it will yield some pretty good providers.  Most of my 30 or so providers are from CL, usually MILFs trying to pay their rent, and don't want to be reviewed.

As I stated in my original post, I'm pretty open and up-front about who I am, and I could easily have been screened and just don't know it. Come to think about it, a few have asked what company I work for, so you might be right.

LE certainly busts CL once in a while, both the locals and the travelers know it, and just accept the risk as part of the job. It's obvious when they do, there's a sharp drop in the number of ads for a week or so, then in creeps back up to normal.  LE busts around here are largely fundraisers, but they're really looking more for drugs and pimps. Drugs are a big problem around here, they bust a meth lab every month or so, and pimps come in from out of town, alot of them are rip-offs.  From what I hear, if the girl is working alone, and no drugs are found, it's a $1200 ticket, which will usually get reduced to about half.

I'm a newbie and I asked that question of a provider I saw for the second time today. She basically said that she was comfortable with how our conversation went. If she wasn't comfortable with it she would have asked more questions and either eliminated me as a possible client or our conversation would have reaffirmed her judgement.
