don't most civilized people think that infanticide and then chopping babies into parts for sale is far beyond barbaric?  At what point in a pregnancy is it too late to swirl the babies brain for the convenience of the "mommy"?

Dems/libs hide their vile and inhumane treatment of infants behind cute words like "choice".

The good news is that abortion is often used to keep the number of societies parasites down and for gender selection.

The most dangerous place for an African Ameircan is in the womb.  Second is on the streets of a city governed by democrats.  Baltiore, Chicago, DC, LA . . . .

Betcha the name callers (Laffy, BigPapasn, Bigguy30) won't answer a single one of these questions.

After getting trounced in the last two Presidential elections, partly due to stupid shit like having a Todd Akin making ridiculous statements about social issues like "legitimate rape"  Just how big an issue do you want to make about Planned Parenthood this November?

Do you think the issue is important enough to risk alienating moderate Democrats who might dislike Hillary enough to jump ship, but then see the GOP acting like retards again and decide to hold their nose and vote for Clinton? Or do you believe (as I plainly do) that the few million bucks that goes to PP simply isn't worth the political capital it's going to cost to fight this battle and come November this one issue might be the one that costs the GOP yet another winnable election?

When I explained to you it is political organization, or at least a quasi one, you rethought your position, at least to a degree. That argument I made made sense to you. Tax payer money going to ANY right wing or left wing cause should be axed from the budget.

THATS the argument the R's need to make and make it LOUD AND CLEAR.

The R's could very well screw up the framing, granted. But I wouldn't just single out PP if I were them. I would place it on a long list of things that are killing our finances and blowing up our debt as a whole and argue we should not be funding this organization, as I believe we should not be funding public television. We simply don't have the money.

And it isn't just a "few million", its 500 of them. You may sneeze at 1/2 a billion but we have thousands of these type issues where we are "only" blowing so many millions down the shitter.

I run two businesses and my bottom line in both isn't just affected by the few large expenses but by many of the smaller ones that add up as well. A good stewart of the money looks at the whole picture and doesn't simply disregard something off the cuff bc it is "too small." Imo, that is exactly what has gotten us into this financial mess to begin with.

And you and I can have the Todd Akin argument another day. I think that played zero factor into McCain's or Romney's losses.

Good post. I hope my response was somewhat satisfactory and if not, I am sure you will tell me here or bc. lol

I'll tell you, those chances are less than zero.

Just look at how the GOP candidates are almost united in their condemnation of PP, and not in the reasonable, this is a quasi political organization collecting tax payer money, type of way. No, they are almost to a man, and woman, condemning PP as virtual abortion factory, ripping out viable babies from the wombs of uninformed teenaged girls. That's the way they always serve up these arguments and that's what turns away moderates who might be persuaded not to vote for the likes of a Hillary Clinton.

The Planned Parenthood debate is not a fiscal debate, it's a moral battle, fought under the guise of being a fiscal issue. If it truly is a fiscal debate, then the GOP should prove it and fight to have a few right wing causes defunded as well for being political. It's not like there is any shortage of them.

Sadly, the Republican party has swung so far to the right that they're just plain nuts. They're angry and stupid, and they all love angry stupid people like Trump.

Have you ever gotten drunk at a bar, to the point where you were practically blacking out, and you saw a hot little blonde that you started flirting with and she came back with you to the motel and you fucked each other's brains out. Then when you woke up in the morning you realized that hot little blonde looks so damn awful that you couldn't stop puking? That's how I feel when I think about voting for Hilary. Just the sound of her voice alone makes my skin crawl.

So, to sum things up, if the Dems nominate Hilary and if the Republican Party nominates Kasich, then I will vote Republican. If the Dems nominate Sanders, I'm voting Sanders. If the Republican Party nominates anyone but Kasich and the Dems nominate Hilary, I'll just stay home on Election Day.

One thing that's been most amusing though is that I knew years ago that Marco Rubio was dumber than dog snot, and it's been a real hoot to see Chris Christie prove it over and over and over again.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but I am truly curious how you knew way back when, that he is so dumb. I can remember ever hearing of him until recently. Is there some history that you were aware of?

Before Rubio gave the Republican response to the State of the Union, I knew he was dumber than dog snot. I remember seeing him give an interview, and thought, "wow, that fucker's dumb". Then he gave the SOTU response and it really confirmed it.

He is the brown version of Al Gore in that respect as he reminds me of Eddie Haskell as in "Good morning Mrs Cleaver, How are you today Mrs. Cleaver? You sure look nice this morning Mrs Cleaver" lol

The really bad news about Rubio is that he is young enough to make several more runs at the White House. I doubt that 2016 will be the last time we hear from him. Fortunately both Bernie and Hillary are toast after this election cycle, as is Trump. For them it's 2016 or never.
