Hello,

Board messages that are pending, approved or denied can be looked at via "My TER" under "My Board Posts". A reason for their denial will be listed there.

As well here is Provider Ad Posting Guidelines:

http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?boardID=33&Messageid=75544

and

Guidelines for Posting Messages on TER Discussion Boards

http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?boardID=33&Messageid=75538

We suggest to all new Providers (or not that new but who don't remember any more)  introduce yourself on the Newbie Board - here is the link to that board:

http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/messageList.asp?boardID=33

The Newbie Board is very friendly and if you have questions, they can be very helpful. You can search any of the boards and see if your question as been asked before. Don't be afraid to ask it again especially, on the Newbie Board.

If you have a profile already, or when you get one, please look over it and let us know if you would like to update the information. Your first review made, or will create, your profile and sometimes the client just doesn't know the answer to the questions.

As well, if there is any questions or help needed, there is two options how to contact us:

By clicking on "Contact Us" (bottom of the page) or sending as an email to [email protected]

Welcome to TER!

I imagine it's a bit awkward for you guys getting a sudden flood of confused new users overnight like this. I for one very much appreciate having a place to congregate and and keep a little bit of the old community alive and together. I've never been a heavy user of TER, mostly due to the fact that the other community was so dominant in the SF Bay Area, but I have always liked the site and have been a member for quite a while.

I am glad to be here also.  Just hope there will be more different segments of the board soon.  Like an AAMP would just make my day.

You could try their suggestion and policy board. I know there are a lot of AAMP guys out there. You need to post here:

Ditto.  I started out on TER a long time ago, then using it as the best resource available when I was in other parts of the country or abroad.  Thanks for being here for the newly destitute  'Homeless.'

In the old days each regional board had a mod.  That was phased out awhile ago so if you take issue with a post you'll notice at the bottom of the post there are a couple of boxes. One of them says "report this post". Use that option if you believe the post is out of line and should be remove. TER adm will then decide whether to yank that post or not.

That's excellent news! Certain corrupt moderators (FBSM forum, for example) from the other site are one of the things that made the other site so bad and useless. I'm glad to hear there are no moderators on these forums who might give "favors" to providers who give them "favors" in return. This means more objectivity and less games! :)

I still need to wait for my posts to be approved before they appear so there must still be some kind of mod on each board.

I agree, there is a mod that approves posts.

To address another point,  whining about the mods on the other board is pointless.  Especially if the whiner is someone who was asked to not post in a certain forum.

yeah, everyone in beginning are moderated and someone in TER is approving or rejecting our posts, but if you stay out of problems and you participate a lot on the boards they unmoderat you lol

There used to be moderators for each board back in the day, but TER did away with them 2 1/2 years ago.
That is not to say there is no "moderation." Moderation is done by admin now, but I believe they just randomly check posts and count on mostly self moderation through the report a post feature. And yes, new members have a delay in their posts going up.

Thank you for taking the time to introduce and reintroduce us. I really appreciate it, and your patience is great.

I'm having some issues navigating the site.  This helps.
