Why did Palin jump ship? It probably has something to do with the fact that Trump is the best negotiator next to Jack Dunphy. But in this case, unlike Jack, Trump probably gave the woman the amount of Benjamins that she was asking for in order to get her imprimatur.
...With Bristol "Abstinence" Palin popping out babies like a gumball machine and son Track arrested for domestic violence and carrying a gun while intoxicated, Trump should be a shoo-in with the Thumpers.

I think most of us would agree with the statement that "there are more stupid people than smart people" so why not pander to stupid people? Without them it's virtually impossible to win an election in this country.

Normally I'd say it was a bone-head move to seek her 'public' endorsement. But the Trump campaign ain't normal.
