most not all. The Hotels are nice and you do have some good restaurants. Some like Buckhead but not convenient for me. I agree with Laydown stay away from Gwinnett.

Hey guys! I am planning a visit to ATL. I would be very grateful for some advice and information on good areas to stay and any areas that should be avoided.

Thanks in advance,

Leah

Depends on your budget , but my suggestions are buckhead , midtown or dunwoody. You can easily score a 4 or 5 star hotel for 100 bucks on priceline name your own price

Thanks AmandaAtl I've been looking inthat area

Avoid Gwinnett County.  Perimiter area is quite good.  Good luck and best wishes.

Thanks for the feedback guys!!!

Personally, it depends upon these factors: money, targets, low profile safe areas. If you are looking to generate business, the buckhead area is good, downtown atlanta, marietta is decent, and certain parts of the peremeter area and henry county is kinda of an up and coming area to do business because of the other cities on the south end like macon and surrounding area and other parts.there are certain areas in the peremeter area that are LE heavy and that could do you more harm than good. Stay away from the Dekalb county, airport area like Riverdale and Clayton county, Johns creek because of the latest information, Duluth and lawerance area.

Hope that helps
