You blame Bush for not stopping something that started well before he entered office, yet you won't equally blame Obama.

So what did Obama do to prevent the Mideast from ending messed up due to as you say Bush's actions?  He had years before ISIS showed up.

Before he took office Iraq was stable ( yes we had troops there), Yemen stable ( he even pointed that out as a success), Libya stable ( although run by a nut) Syria stable ( but run by a nasty guy), Egypt stable ( run by a dictator but stable), no ISIS. Now look at what has happened over his term.

- Lybia- failed state- terrorist haven
-Yemen- civil war and failed state
-Syria- war , refugees, failed state
-Egypt- under martial law
-ISIS- all over the globe.

You all think he did a good job?

You must be smoking some of the "good stuff" this morning. The Iraq war was the fuse that lit the fire that is now those failed states you mention. You can blame G. W. Bush for the clusterfuck that is now the ME, he reignited centuries old hatred between the Sunni and Shia. Don't for a moment think I will ever let you forget this fact.

That's fine, by that measure you can blame Clinton for 9/11 and the economic downturn of 2001-02

Sure he kept us safe....what a load of crap.

Bush was warned on August 6, 2001 in a PDB about Bin Laden's plan to attack the homeland but did nothing.

The CIA warned the Bush Administration in August in the Presidential Daily Brief that Bin Laden was determined to strike the U.S. but those warning were never taken seriously.

Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” The CIA’s famous Presidential Daily Brief, presented to George W. Bush on August 6, 2001, has always been Exhibit A in the case that his administration shrugged off warnings of an Al Qaeda attack. But months earlier, starting in the spring of 2001, the CIA repeatedly and urgently began to warn the White House that an attack was coming.

By May of 2001, says Cofer Black, then chief of the CIA’s counterterrorism center, “it was very evident that we were going to be struck, we were gonna be struck hard and lots of Americans were going to die.” “There were real plots being manifested,” Cofer’s former boss, George Tenet, told me in his first interview in eight years. “The world felt like it was on the edge of eruption. “ In this time period of June and July, the threat continues to rise. Terrorists were disappearing [as if in hiding, in preparation for an attack]. Camps were closing. Threat reportings on the rise.” The crisis came to a head on July 10.

Now about blaming Bill Clinton for the Financial Recession of 2008, he gets partial blame, IMHO. It was under Bill Clinton that the Glass Steagall act was repealed, this repeal gave the major Investment Banks on Wall Street the green light to engage in excessive risk taking.

The U.S. Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, set up by Congress concluded that....

.....The Financial crisis was avoidable and caused by: Widespread failures in financial regulation, including the Federal Reserve’s failure to stem the tide of toxic mortgages; Dramatic breakdowns in corporate governance including too many financial firms acting recklessly and taking on too much risk; An explosive mix of excessive borrowing and risk by households and Wall Street that put the financial system on a collision course with crisis; Key policy makers ill prepared for the crisis, lacking a full understanding of the financial system they oversaw; and systemic breaches in accountability and ethics at all levels.

The issues in the Middle East is bigger than this President.
Why because these civil wars are their countries internal struggle for power.
They are  getting rid of their shady leaders and fighting for their own freedoms.
Some of these former shady leaders were very friendly with former President Bush and his administration.

Also the root of Isis started with the Iraq war.
Then you have your new GOP leader Trump war on Muslims.
Just what Isis loves to hear this clown Trump big mouth helping them with his hate.
I will say it again learn the facts first before writing your comments.

the roots of 9/11 began probably 10 years prior, maybe more.  Remember the failed bombing in 1993?  and the other bombings later during Clintons 2nd term?  And HE failed to stop the growth of Al Quaeda, never mind contain it.  Now 9/11 occurred on Bush's watch - if you blame him for that, fine.  But ISIS happened on Obama's watch.

nuguy you are so blinded by your own GOP glasses it's a joke.
When you start looking at the truth then come back to us.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_Revolution_of_2011The Egyptian protesters' grievances focused on legal and political issues,[25] including police brutality, state-of-emergency laws,[1] lack of free elections and freedom of speech, corruption,[2] and economic issues including high unemployment, food-price inflation[3] and low wages.[1][3] The protesters' primary demands were the end of the Mubarak regime and emergency law, freedom, justice, a responsive non-military government and a voice in managing Egypt's resources.[26] Strikes by labour unions added to the pressure on government officials.[27]

The Libyan crisis[1][2] refers to the ongoing conflict in Libya, beginning with the Arab Spring protests, which led to the First Libyan Civil War, foreign military intervention and the ousting and death of Muammar Gaddafi. The civil war's aftermath led to violence and instability across the country, which erupted into renewed civil war in 2014. The ongoing crisis in Libya has so far resulted in tens of thousands of casualties since the onset of violence in early 2011.

Yemen- civil war and failed state
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yemeni_Crisis_(2011%E2%80%93present)
The wave of protests known as the Arab Spring did not take long to arrive in Yemen after the Tunisian Revolution. Yemen was a poor country with a government widely acknowledged to be corrupt, with a large amount of weapons in private hands. By 2011, the country was already facing challenges from al Qaeda-linked militants and separatists in the south and Zaydi Shia rebels in the north. Yemen had only been unified since 1990, and deep divisions persisted between the north and south.

The uprising against the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad gradually turned into a full-scale civil war.[1] Two significant milestones were the initial March 2011 Arab Spring protests and the 15 July 2012 declaration by the International Committee of the Red Cross that the fighting had gradually become so widespread that the situation should be regarded as a civil war.[2]

Liberal Fact?  Isn't that an oxymoron?   Only you liberals on this Board would have the nerve to quote something from Huffington or Wikipedia and call it "the facts",  while at the same time calling every one who leans to the right everything from "stupid" to "idiot" to "un-intelligent" to "low-information-voter".  I pity you - and feel badly for you.  So sad.  But, in a way, so funny, too.
