If Bernie Sanders is a card carrying Socialist,

then he needs to own up to it. I wish somebody would challenge him and ask him direct questions about his beliefs.

Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and all that stuff is NOT Socialism. You can call them entitlements, but it has nothing to do with Socialism or Capitalism.

I had already seen his speech at Georgetown. It was cute, funny and quick when he said. "the government will not take over the local grocery store". That's all he said on that subject. I wonder why?

There are key tenets you must believe in to be considered a capitalist or a socialist. One of the key tenets of Socialism is the belief in a system of social organization based on the holding of most property in common, with actual ownership ascribed to the workers. The means of production are owned by public enterprises or cooperatives, and individuals are compensated based on the principle of individual contribution. If you don't believe in this basic theory, then you can't classify yourself as a Socialist, not even a Democratic Socialist. Progressive, go for it, but not a Socialist.

Now if Sanders believes in private property, the free market, ownership ascribed to the individual, then he is a Capitalist. It's one or the other, not some shady gray area.

I'm going to give a shout out to Chris Matthews. He has asked Debbie Wasserman and just last week Hillary Clinton, what is the difference between a Democrat and Socialist. They both refused to answer the question repeatedly when pressured by Matthews. Even Matthews said to Hillary, "even I don't want to be called a Socialist".

In an interview last summer with CNBC, Sanders mentioned that Americans have too many choices in life. Unfortunately, the interviewer didn't have any follow-up questions. What the hell did Bernie, who is running for President mean by that? In another interview, Sanders mentioned that everyone should be guaranteed not only health care, but a job and housing. It's part of his economic rights.

Democratic Socialist my ass!

He started off the speech by listing the accomplishments of another "ranting obnoxious Socialist Democrat Statist Collectivist Bolshevik asswipe."  Guess who he was talking about:

"...almost everything he proposed was called "socialist." Social Security, which transformed life for the elderly in this country was "socialist." The concept of the "minimum wage" was seen as a radical intrusion into the marketplace and was described as "socialist." Unemployment insurance, abolishing child labor, the 40-hour work week, collective bargaining, strong banking regulations, deposit insurance, and job programs that put millions of people to work were all described, in one way or another, as "socialist." Yet, these programs have become the fabric of our nation and the foundation of the middle class."

You righties have been trying to dismantle those accomplishments since the day they were enacted.  Keep reading your bible - "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair - and dream of your utopian America before those accomplishments were the law of the land.

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". Albert Einstein

Something like this!   “'The Republican Party has never done anything for the working man like me, even though we’ve voted Republican for years,' said Leo Martin, a 62-year-old machinist from Newport, N.H., who attended Mr. Trump’s Claremont rally.

go support/vote for that ranting obnoxious Socialist Democrat Statist Collectivist Bolshevik asswipe. He is going to give you all kinds of free shit. Now Leo, it won't exactly be like Denmark, probably more like Nicaragua., but if you support Sanders, you too can become a SANDER-NISTA. You'll have a guaranteed job, security, free healthcare, the list goes on.

Leo, it you are still thinking about Trump, understand he is going to immediately deport 11M illegals. You may not be a bright 62 year old machinist because when that happens the U.S. economy will lose approximately $1.5 Trillion in GDP. That will cause a recession, and you will probably be out of a job, because you are a stupid 62 year old machinist who obviously didn't listen to Suzy Orman over the years (lol).

Look what we've spawned........a potential Presidential race of Trump versus Sanders.

Now that I've said the above, can we expect different results? With Trump, a recession is only temporary, so no. With Sanders, what do you think?

Something like this!   “'The Republican Party has never done anything for the working man like me, even though we’ve voted Republican for years,' said Leo Martin, a 62-year-old machinist from Newport, N.H., who attended Mr. Trump’s Claremont rally."

Tiger woods would never have  become a World Champion if he'd succumbed to Einstein's theory of limitations.

I  define insanity as someone who lives in their own delusional fantasy world, not attached
to the realities most of us see.
The insane  person is unable to conduct their daily affairs with any amount of regularity, while they often exhibit impulsive  uncontrollable behavior, without being able to distinguish right from wrong.

For 40 years the Black community has overwhelmingly voted for  Democrat powers to be.
The average  net worth of a Black head of household in America  is a pittance over
$ 10,000.00, while the average White man's  net worth is well over $ 100.000.00.

I don't believe for one second Black people are insane for consistently voting for Democrat power brokers, though  I do believe they're  not aware  their voting record follies are often not in their best interest .

I  don't need to be an Einstein to see why the Democrat party puts millions of illegal immigrants, in front of the workers bus, while the poor Black worker waits in the back for a better job.

If Einstein were here I'd ask him, what has the Democrat party done for Black families in the last thirty years, or the last seven for a current events quiz ?

Was it a Democrat operative  who coined the phrase,   "Once the fish is on the hook there is no need to use more bait

Not only Tiger, but then perhaps there would be no athletics! What part of his game are you talking about? Practicing or competing or both? I think that's part of an athlete's job isn't it? Isn't that what they get paid for?

The point of the article was:  "The Republican Party is facing a historic split over its fundamental principles and identity, as its once powerful establishment grapples with an eruption of class tensions, ethnic resentments and mistrust among working-class conservatives who are demanding a presidential nominee who represents their interests."

That was the very first sentence of the article. Neither I, nor the article said anything about Democrats. The article is talking about the rank and file Republicans being sick and tired of the establishment Republican candidates lying to them year after year.
