This was said by a Christian conservative, liberty-loving Texas Republican. Of course he said this years before his sins were forgiven by the Grace of God. And before he was saved, he also wanted to know how to pass a drug test and was looking for somebody to smoke marijuana with as well as how to grow it.
It's great news for sinners like us on TER. We can do whatever we want knowing we have a free pass in our back pocket at all times. Take drugs, drink, fuck hookers - do whatever you want, then say the magic words and you're saved.
