I don't know really about the Atlanta area because I am not a provider, but there are a lot of untapped potential areas in Georgia I feel. It seems that there is a struggle in atlanta in my eyes. I could be wrong. However, I wonder if providers research other cities to see what potential are there?

i have an former exotic dancer friend of mine had decided on being a provider. She had asked me about the Atlanta market for getting business, and I told her that this market is kind of flooded. I might be wrong about the Atlanta market but how is the market for other cities in Georgia like Columbus, Macon, savannah  and etc..? Are these cities a growing market or a dying market? All opinion are welcome.

In the smaller markets their is less providers and less demand, and I think lower prices but not sure.  Lots of providers from surrounding smaller markets visit ATL and it goes the other way some as well.  "Flooded" may be more correctly "Lots of variety".

If she had decided on it she could try a reputable agency to get started and then see if the indy route is for her or now.  Not a provider but I would say getting a membership and getting on the provider only board would be well worth the cost of admission.  Also lots of aspiring providers are on the newbie board.

I was going to be a male provider but figured if I could not give it away I doubt I could sell it :-)

I'd like to address the "get on the Provider Only Board" advice. It AIN'T EASY to join.  I've tried a few times.  I recently spoke with some well reviewed providers who participate on the Boards and haven't been able to get on either.  VIP membership isn't required or was never mentioned when I asked.

IMHO I think there are not enough quality providers in Atlanta.  Meaning the quality ones, and there are many, are always booked solid and it's hard to get an appointment.

I can definitely understand to a certain point, but the average ratio of reputable provider in atlanta far exceed than other Georgia areas. It might be 500 to 1 in the different areas.

I believe there is a market in Macon.  I, myself, will only see reviewed providers and there are many people taking one for the team by meeting a non-reviewed provided and getting burned.  Not only Macon, but Warner Robins with Robins AFB attracts a lot of business travels.  It's obviously not Atlanta, but I believe a provider could do real well here.  I posted an message on this board back in Jan to see if any providers were in the area and it got close to 100 views, which means clients from Middle GA are on TER.  I wish more Atlanta providers would visit Macon occasionally.

I agree with you on this point. Somehow, other Georgia cities they leave alone, and concentrate only Atlanta and maybe once in a blue moon the different cities.
