Thank you Logostuck for your comment

Quote from Laurence Sterne: Respect for ourselves guides our morals; respect for others guides our manners. This one word carries a powerful meaning. We need to show respect to one another because at the end being fear or rude will bite you in the end. For hobbyist, if a provider asked for you to respect her space or privacy, it is only right because you would not want them to disrespect you in any way. We need to practice this as a daily walk of life. Have fun and stay safe.

I agree my Dear...xoxoxxo

"Be a reflection of what you would like to see in others.  If you want honesty, give honesty.  If you want love, give love.  If you want respect, give respect.  You get in return, what you give".

I definitely agree with your statement.

I absolutely agree with both of you that is the way I treat people,
the way I would want them to treat me.

You are definitely right. We don't do these same lessons anymore.

but unfortunately having to ask grown men to respect the personal lives of the sex workers that they frequent has proven to be a necessary evil around here.

While I don't plan on being even a bit "nicer" on the boards, I am perfectly respectful of the women here where it comes to their private lives, and I think it's a crying shame that it is necessary to have to tell grown men to give simple human respect,  but it's a true, and for the record I agree with you.

It's also true that more often than not, it's the board "nice guys" who can't seem to respect boundaries, and turn into stalkers or worse. This is happening right now to a very good friend of mine, and I agree as a community we need to do everything in our power to put a stop to this type of behavior.

GaGambler, you are totally right except that I am a nice guy too lol... you are a cool dude though

I don't think treating people decently is a matter of respect;  I think it is simply the way a civilized person (aka gentleman) behaves.  I treat all sorts of people politely and decently - including, for example, politicians, for whom I have no respect.

Respect -1.  esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability: 2. to refrain from interfering with.

Elementary school principals express platitudes that have completely warped the meaning of respect for an entire generation.  Some of those platitudes were expressed in some previous posts - and, as you noted above - this way lies madness.

Respect is not some magical quality endowed upon us by our creator.  It is not reciprocal - it does not exist simply because we mutually wish it to be so.  We earn respect by our actions.

I respect a sex worker because she's good at her job - making me feel good.  I demonstrate that I respect her by dealing with her in a civilized manner - paying my bill on time, treating her politely, expressing my desires in a clear manner.  As I do with all of the professionals in my life who provide services - plumber, carpenter, general contractor, interior decorator, maid, butler, etc.

She respects me because I have sufficient cash to buy her services.  She demonstrates that respect by giving me good service.   Like every other professional I deal with.   Doesn't mean we can't be friendly in the course of services being rendered.  I am on good friendly terms with my general contractor - doesn't mean I am going to lend him money or bail him out of jail....or just suddenly show up at his apartment...

See.... simple

But I think you mean something else

Yet anytime ladies post about how they like touching or feeling themselves or clients, I enjoy the voyerism.

Cheers

As I once told others and also myself - be nice to the nice ladies who are being nice to you.

Thank you for your agreement with me.

it is foolish to expect them to respect you or others (no Morals). And to ask them to do so is unrealistic.

I so want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this post. You are indeed the true meaning of a gentleman :) You rock baby! !! :D
Hugs and kisses
