So you told a big lie about Sarah Palin and believe that's justified.

Why not tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth?
Why did you lie about Sarah Palin and the red cup?
Your arguments look weak and impotent when you resort to outright lies to make your point.

I would wager there was a Very  Small number  on the right who gave a tinkers dam about
         the Starbucks cup.
From the beginning I thought it was an advertising hoax.

Can you name a number of Christians  who acted like 10,000 nuns were crucified because of the
Starbucks red cup controversy, without resorting to Huff&Puff shenanigans and outright lies?

she "loved the commercialization of Christmas" when she was on the Today show.

And the Right did go CRAZY that Starbucks didn't have anything "Christmas" on them.

It's odd how she ripped "The Left" over that when it was her fellow Thumpers that acted like Starbucks crucified 10,000 nuns in Times Square over it.

The decision follows heightened security concerns. I think it's a very reasonable plan, I would also support allowing into the U.S. only men over 50 and all women, children and families. Just you watch our political goons in Washington allow in all MALE refugees of fighting ages 18-49 yrs.

Single men need not apply: When it comes to Canada's Syrian refugee plan, it's women, children and families only.

Unaccompanied men seeking Canadian refuge from their war-torn country will be turned away, TV station CBC reported Sunday citing anonymous sources. That decision, which is expected to be announced on Tuesday, follows heightened security concerns.

Canada is getting to work implementing newly-elected Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's campaign promise to accept 25,000 refugees by year's end. That equates to Canadian officials accepting around 500 people per day.

I think it's a great idea, but I think I would bump the age to sixty for men. I am 56 and I have plenty of fight left in me.

Personally, I think the effort put into resettling millions of Syrians all across the world would be better spent rooting out every last vestige and memory that that ISIS ever existed, and then those good Syrians could go home and rebuild their own country instead of being shipped off to every corner of the world.

.......Our US culture is not conducive with the Muslim faith. Scantily clad women are everywhere, we eat a lot of pork, drink a lot of alcohol

They could be sent to America, Australian, UK, Canada, Some european country, south africa.. ANYWHERE.

The only reason they would get priorty to be sent to any particular country is if they already have family members in said country.

Just the facts.

.......and that is where they end up. Most of the Syrian refugee's transiting through Greece say their final destination is Germany and the German's expect to take in 700,000-900,000' refugees this year. Also one can expect this influx of all these refugees will be a huge boost to ultra right wing nationalistic parties.

At some point they stop being immigrants and start becoming invaders.

Our culture is barely tolerable to "open minded Christians" much less devout Muslims, Why in the world are we spending billions of dollars to bring in people that will never adopt our way of life and are more likely to turn on us than embrace our American ways?

emigrated Muslims might team with Radical Christian Fundamentalists and their chronic campaigns of moral oppression and unabashed judgement against the rest of us. The way I see it the American God Squad has been looking for an excuse to re-establish public "stoning" for decades, and the GOP has turned its back on every "science" except religious and that of petroleum.

Once these jokers get God, Jesus and Allah properly sorted out it's gonna be a living hell for the rest of us.

The only thing possibly worse than these morons blowing up the planet in their stupid thousand year war over different versions of the same fairy tale and taking us out with them is the unlikely event that they would ever get over their differences and be free to enslave the rest of us.

Fortunately it's unlikely they will ever get over those differences, unless of course it's to unite against a common enemy, you and me. I guess it would be like Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins fans coming together to root against the Giants.

Honestly though, does anybody really see peace coming out of any of this? Christians are bad, Muslims are worse, with modern technology we don't have 500 years for the Muslims to mellow out a bit like the Christians finally did, after slaughtering millions of non believers and committing mass genocide in the name of their lord and savior. Can you imagine what havoc the Christians could have wreaked back in their heyday if they had access to today's technology? But the past is the past and for the likes of you and me it's either side with the Christians or the Muslims and that choice is pretty clear. I am not going to become one of them, but the enemy of my enemy is my friend, but  I still don't want to give my newfound friend absolute control over my country. Christians do have this nasty habit of forcing other people to live by their moral code whenever they find themselves in power. I suppose their logic is "God must have wanted them to do so or he wouldn't have put them in power"

let them come ONLY if they want to embrace our way of life and become contributing citizens.

We have millions of "immigrants" and illegal "migrants" who have no intention of pursuing an American dream as American citizens.

It's not an issue of religion at all, IMHO.

I suppose we'll have plenty that suggest we should just do away with our citizenship process and requirements, and "gift" the Syrians with citizenship - as has been oft suggested we do for our other "visitors".  Perhaps whoever gives them the (unearned and sometimes undesired) right to vote will get their votes
