A new spreader bar :) I also have used shoe strings, thigh highs. I do have an under the bed restraint system and a liberator black label edition ramp and wedge soooooo I have all kinds of stuff for bondage.  
Just this morning I had a gentleman walk up behind me (with my spreader bar on me) put my blindfold on me and proceeded to "take" my ass. Now I couldn't close my legs and the things he was saying.... Was so hot being violated like that! :D

I read a review a while back about a hobbyist that used his belt to tie a provider's arms behind her back, up high at the elbow, so he could use it as a handle while he did her standing doggie.  That struck me as awesomely creative and so easy to do!

Are there any creative or even obvious items you've used for bondage? Like a belt, tie, shoe string, or something laying around the bedroom?  And what's the coolest bondage type thing you've ever done?

Mine was I learned how to tie a rope into a woman's long hair and attach it to an anal hook.  Of course then I put her into a stressful position :)

Around my wrists and ankles. And it stings so good when it's taken off.

I had a Daddy Dom that was really into intricate knot tying. He was quite talented actually. The most interesting was when my left calf and ankle were tied up against the footboard with my knee bent, my left forearm also tied to the footboard. My right ankle and right wrist were extended and had a ropes going to the headboard. I was completely opened and immobilized and was able to lose control and forget all my troubles.

Using scissors cut off the legs.  Use one leg around the back of the head and across the mouth in multiple wraps to keep the panties in her mouth.  Tie off the ends in back of the neck. Then put the other leg over the head like a bank robber.  Neat effect - and really tough to dislodge the gag that way.... Works best with black.  Make damned sure that she's getting enough air.  Nose holes are a good idea - two snips with the scissors...

I once had forgotten my ropes. So I had to rip up a sheet  (which worked awesomely) for my eager gentlemen to tie me up with.  The sheet is easily replaced, but that pure pleasure from a heated and passionate time causing me to squirt immensely is by far not so easily replaced :)  

I have used many different things and enjoy trying anything new.  
Ms Sexy TL, I have yet to try the bar and definitely will now after your description lol
