Sadly, President Obama had a rather bumbling press conference concerning what to do about ISIS. I agree that it would be a mistake to send in ground troops. We could bomb the shit out of them in Syria, but I don't want the US to get pulled into that mess. It's hard to fight an enemy when the enemy doesn't give a fuck and just wants to murder people in the streets.
So, here's an idea. We tell the Muslim world that we're considering going after the things they do care about. Like Mecca and Medina. How about we tell the Muslim world that if they don't cut the shit, that we'll turn Medina into rubble. And if they keep on shooting people in the streets or trying to blow up planes then we'll level Mecca as well. If they want to fuck with us, how about we fuck with them.
How do we get Israel to go along with blowing up half of THEIR country?

I am surprised you don't just state the obvious solution. You have been stating that there are far too many people on this planet to begin with, A billion Muslims suddenly no longer in the equation would go a long ways towards overpopulation. I suppose we could add another billion or so Christians and really make a dent in the overpopulation problem.
Or I suppose we could simply fight the crusades all over again. war is great for business. Look at the boon it would give to our military industrial complex. Building planes and bombs creates "real" jobs, much better than those $15 hr fast food jobs you socialists want for this country. If we had millions of new $50 hr manufacturing jobs, $15 hr for unskilled labor wouldn't seem so unreasonable.

Playing "nice" doesn't work. Playing "dirty" doesn't work. Their agenda does not include peaceful co-existence. Surrender or die. And to surrender means to be put to death (q.v., the genocidal atrocities in captured villages and towns throughout the region).
The Russkies are now in full war mode against ISIS and they could care less about civilian collateral damage. Some of the numb skulls in our NSA have interfered with Military planing and and thus prevented the military from successfully prosecuting the war against ISIS. Two days ago the U.S. announced they had destroyed 120 ISIS oil tankers out of 300 in a single strike. What have they been doing for the past year or so in their bombing campaigns in Syria? From the videos of long convoys of ISIS trucks, they do not seem to be having much of a problem gassing up their huge fleet of stolen U.S. humvees, trucks and light tanks etc.
