I haven't seen the movie or read the book, but damn did it really spawn that many experts?

I have been an expert at having fun long before the 50 shades of Grey came out :D and yes I am submissive as hell too. I've never read the book or seen the movie either but then again I should write a book of my own lol

There are some providers in this town who advertize regularly on the Atlanta board who will get kinky with you if you want and have been doing so for a while - well before the book or the movie.  They have reviews - and you have written some of them.   There are two or three of them on my "bucket" list...

I think what has happened is that some providers now mention it in their advertizing - that's been trending up over the last few years.  The movie may increase that further.

My observation is that more providers have been adding this to their public menu.  I can think of a number of providers who post regularly who have offered these services as a regular thing for years - but haven't necessarily advertized them or have downplayed them.  

One very frequent poster on this board has a strap on prominently displayed in her incall though her website and ad copy doesn't even hint at it.  When I asked her about it (in 2013) - she said she thought it might scare off the GFE guys if she advertized it ... And... Larry - you have reviewed her - you couldn't have missed it.  

My opinion is that the service has always been available - just a matter of how well advertized it is.

On multiple points. Not exactly sure which ladies website, but it's probable that I've seen it in action.   I was mainly pointing out that I think it's definitely coming out of the shadows. But I also think some are revealing, while some may just be taking an opportunity to ride a trend.  

TL...just damn!   You're book would launch a wave of lotion sales...and I'd be among the eager readers to be sure!

My GF, who NEVER reads a book, read 50 Shades like a page turner-- all 3 volumes-- so I started reading it.  It was torturous-- but I forced my way through the first book-- I kept thinking it HAS to get better! The only good parts were the sex scenes.  Have to agree with you Ms Valentine, the writing was poorly done-- and it's obvious the author doesn't know a thing about the subject-- obvious to us old kinksters

What the writer describes is basically an abusive relationship. I've seen other members of the kink community pick apart the books and describe how wrong it is and how it goes against the fundamentals of kink. Consent is an integral part of it. :)
