Skylar, when I read the review you're referring to, my first thought was not "oh no, I can't see Skylar, she got a so-so review..." My first thought was WTF is wrong with this dude?? His review sticks out as being unreasonably harsh of a gal who so many clients rate so highly. I think most guys would look at his review in that light.
Hello everyone. Hope you all are having a wonderful day. I'm blessed but mine could be going b better. You see, I received a not so nice review on my profile. It really bummed me out. You see, it upset me because the review was written by a client whom I've never met or seen. Now I love the hobby. I'm a loyal hobbyist, I'm good at it and I enjoy it. It's why I joined this community. I am grateful and lucky to be around such open and diverse individuals. There's many a misconception about the hobby and the people that indulge in the lifestyle. However, there are still some of these individuals among us that harbor spite and shame, individuals that do not treat each other with a level if deceny and respect. It is unfortunate, but has become all too common . But the wonderful people here at the Erotic Review provided us with a way to voice or thoughts, comments, and opinions, to ultimately enhance our experiences . But as with all great things, there are those that take advantage of this freedom andrespect spite or resentment, not representing the hobby or those associated with it in the best light. So I've decided to start this discussion thread, as a way for both providers and enthusiasts alike to comment on their experiences, explain their viewpoints and ultimately as an outlet to voice any concerns. Take two actions. PM the reviewer and ask him to refresh your memory about when you met; give a reasonable time for him to respond. Then, after he doesn't respond, contact TER Admin and let them know the facts. If it's a fake review, TER will remove it. Keep your spirit and attitude positive and upbeat. This shall pass.
keep in mind that he does grade much lower than most reviewers. Though I will say that was pretty harsh - there have been cash and dash reviews that were higher. At a two, I am expecting a cleft palate, open sores, a missing ear, a missing eye (without the patch...) and B.O....... which I really doubt is the case.
My take away from that review is - he didn't enjoy himself and he did not like your attitude - and that you are a YMMV sort of provider - and his mileage really sucked. The details to me are not very important. The YMMV part does come through in some other very positive reviews - where their mileage was pretty damn good
I have recently had the same thing happen... Not sure why ppl can be so spiteful... Can't we all get along? I know I put my heart and soul into this and it hurts when someone says things to degrade you or bring you down. As a woman I know we take things personally... I am sorry girl. Plead your case and go through the verification of it... Seriously. One thing I know about having your own "business" per se, is that its really hard to get the happy clients to say something... But, if something doesn't go their way the Internet can be a pretty malicious , and not nessesarily truthful place sometimes. Just keep on rockin and being you... Those who know better will not take it seriously, and those who do... They Dont deserve to be your client anyway!

I have submitted one review describing a visit with Crystal but have seen her on multiple occasions. My esteem for Crystal has only grown more positive with time and experience. That is rare!
I have only known Crystal to be an OUTSTANDING provider. More importantly, she is a KIND and HONEST PERSON.
Therefore, I was shocked to see the recent negative review. Immediately upon reading it I knew something was askew. I'm sure all of Crystal's friends thought the same and immediately discounted the negative comments. I'm also sure that most serious hobbyists interested in meeting Crystal for the first time will look at her overall review history and do the same. Kudos to Crystal for having the courage to address the situation directly.
To all the providers out there, if you display solid character and seek to provide quality service, your long term reputation will easily overcome any single negative comment and you will earn the respect of all serious hobbyists. Stay positive!
Finally, I echo Crystal's comments regarding TER. The opportunity to learn from others and share information has been of tremendous value to me and our community. Keep up the good work TER team!

I don't write reviews as often anymore and I rarely comment on these boards. This topic, however, is important to me because I have visited Crystal myself (three times so far and I will continue). I just wanted to share my opinion: If she says the review is fake or full of lies, I am inclined to believe her over the reviewer.
The reason I say this is because Crystal is one of the sweetest, most accommodating providers I have met in all of my years of hobbying. She is smart, fun to talk to, and sensual to a fault. Her body is gorgeous: beautiful and petite with the most amazing curves....sort of like a sexy cheerleader. Her level of service and attentiveness to my needs is stellar every time I see her. It's clear that she loves what she does and she is fast becoming an all time favorite.
To Crystal: if you never saw this guy, please contact TER and start the process to having the review removed. I look forward to seeing you again...and again....and again.
Sweetie, no one is going to take this seriously, don't you worry. 
And if they do, you don't want to meet them anyway.
Just stay strong and know that people aren't stupid, they can see through this kind of stuff.

Your review are solid (outside of the one in question). Looking at the other reviews that hobbiest has posted it seems there is a pattern of VERY low scores, with a couple of good ones thrown in as cover. I am guessing this guy uses this to try to get sessions at deep discount and then has the review removed, just gets jollies from writing them or just makes them up so his VIP will get extended. Looking at all the really poor reviews he has posted, it is either bad luck or just BS. If I had that kinda luck I would be outta the hobby so fast you would hear a sonic boom.
It's a review from one guy - it's not like Michelin took away a star from the OP's restaurant. It just doesn't matter that much and no sane hobbyist would pay it much attention except to giggle at it....
I even agree with you that if I had those sorts of experiences - I really would not be doing this over and over again. The definition of insanity.
I think it is perfectly legit for people to say that they had a good time with the OP as a response to this thread and even refer to a review that they posted - because it's something they know about.
BUT I think you (and others in this threAd) are crossing a line when you opine that the reviewer must have some other motive or that it's a fake review. That speaks to something you don't know. Especially since you haven't actually seen her. It doesn't matter whether in fact the reviewer in question does do that sort of thing or if the OP is the finest courtesan since Nell Gwynn - it really is something you don't know

However, the reviewer actually contacted me directly and told me to.expect a terrible review, his exact words were, "Just wanted to make you aware that I despise scumbag whores such as yourself that make commitments knowing full well they have no intention of fulfilling that commitment. Since I am the Web Master for several escort review sites I will ensure your acceptance in the hobby is diminished significantly. You may want to find a different means of generating income."
If the above doesn't speak.to his character and intentions luv, added to the fact he won't even come out and actually admit the provider he saw really was me, I don't know what else could be said to.support my previous statement that prompted the discussion thread in the first place.
The fact that you have a basis for your complaint is really besides the point.
Provider complains about a review; White Knight (WK) brigade engages without any thought... boring and not useful - whether it's true or not. The problem with WK behavior is that it implies that providers are little girls that need protection by the WK rather than assuming that they can take care of themselves as independent business women. And - as a natural reaction - the provider community ends up just a little more contemptuous of the clients.
WK behavior needs to be actively discouraged in the client community - just like rudeness and bad hygiene.
JimmyPW seems to think the world of you - And you may notice that while he did say very good things about you - he did NOT ascribe motives to the reviewer. He did not write about stuff that he did not know something about. In other words, he did NOT do the WK thing.
He's got 47 reviews. The statistical median for both looks and performance is 5.0 for both. In 47 reviews, it is impossible for me to believe that the ladies he's seen are statistically "plain" with "average" performance. Given his reviews, it's easy to conclude that he's not really into women and should play by his own self or find another guy to bed down with
He might want to find another hobby... Just saying. Some things aren't for everyone. I hear golf is a good outlet.
I'm so sorry this has happened to you and other girls. I'm going through the same thing. I got a review that is completely false as well. It absolutely never took place, and unfortunately it's not going to be taken down. I think we all just have to deal with it and hope people can see the truth from the other reviews. I know it's frustrating and hard and makes you feel so betrayed, but it's just one fake review.
Whoever did it needed to do it for his or her own reasons. I am moving on from it and celebrating all the great (and real) reviews I have from wonderful people.

To summarize, reviews written by consistently low rating reviewers who don't actually give much of a description of the provider they saw and also Can't actually admit the provider they saw was the one they contacted, is probably fake or should be taken with a grain of salt. We all get bad reviews, you can't satisfy everyone. I just want to actually receive a negative review based on my actions or lack.thereof, not just because someone chose to review me. Call me old fashioned but I've liked to have actually earned my ratings personally, as in to have actually met the client , regardless of how the meeting turned out. I don't think that's too much to ask.
Not to worry sweet girl. You are one of the most personal and sweet young ladies I know. Looks are personal preference, but IMHO, you are quite pleasing to the eye and a body to die for. And a joy to talk to, intelligent and witty.

I think 95% of TER users understand that what matters is consistency of reviews, not any given single review; we all understand that providing is hardly a one-size-fits-all proposition.
The only way a lone negative review can hurt is if the provider overreacts to it or attacks the reviewer, because that can be perceived as "attitude" (the number-one provider character flaw!)
Several bad reviews can hurt if they point to a trend; there have certainly been well-regarded providers in the past who burned out and started offering declining service.
In your case, Crystal, it's just an outlier review, and it seems pretty obvious that at worst, you guys just didn't click and he's sore about it (or, as you say, it could just be a fake review - the time-for-reviews policy of TER does cause some mischief from time to time.)
