I do think the conservative candidates are going to begin to skewer Trump for some of his leftest leanings. Much like Romney could never shake of Romneycare.

Here's an interesting article that might explain why Rubio is getting more and more backing, and many have not quite given up on Bush. The conservative Republicans may once again, like with Romney and McCain, be stuck with a relative moderate.  ;)

I was completely prepared to reject the idea as yet another attempt by the MSM to marginalize the likes of Trump and Carson, but the is a lot of truth to what is being said here.  I am sure the dems are loving this, because if correct you might as well just skip the election and call Hillary the winner today.

Romney allowed the media to define him and his campaign, and even allowed them to dictate his strategy which proved to be disastrous. Trump OTOH is an expert at manipulating the media and could even use his previous lefty leaning to his advantage, portraying himself as the GOP candidate most likely to appeal to indies and best equipped to get moderate Dems to cross party lines if Hillary is dragged too far to the left.

and just remember, in spite of Romneycare, he did win the nomination. Trump used to be a Democrat, who better to make the claim that he can appeal to Dems?
