Maybe Bernie is there just to make Hillary look "not so bad" in comparison

and while polls, especially early ones like we are getting now, are often proven worthless, I just don't see Trump falling off the radar like many outsider front runners have done before him.

I think the media thought he was a joke, as we all did, and now they are terrified, just like the Republican establishment, that he might actually win. A Trump presidency would fuck everything up for a lot of people and that is one of the things that make him an attractive candidate to many.  I do see Carson and Fiorina doing better in the polls than at the polls however. I just don't see either of them getting anywhere near as many votes as the polls might indicate.

All the "smart money" seems to be on Rubio, I guess time will tell. He does seem to be gaining momentum. I don't really mind if Rubio wins, as long as he runs against Hillary. I've already accepted a Hillary presidency, and the thought of it really doesn't bother me at all. I would rather have Hillary than a social conservative, especially if the GOP holds Congress. The last thing I want is someone like Rubio as POTUS coupled with a strong speaker in Ryan possibly coupled with the GOP holding the Senate. I remember the evil trifecta of Obama/Reid/Pelosi.  I don't want to see a right wing version of that losing trifecta.

I doubt if any words from him will calm the fears of his deep pockets supporters. But, I could be wrong!

he is just as fucked up as his inept brother..

2016 = GOP All The Way

They seem to be getting desperate and want to take down Trump ASAP. Just look at the nonstop coverage today of Carson taking the poll lead from Trump. What has Carson done to garner an increase in his polling numbers in the past week? Nothing, so I call BS on these new poll numbers.

Carson is another religious fruitcake; albeit a lethargic one. and I can't vision the mouth breathing GOP base voting in another black President when they so voraciously hated the last 'black" President.

The chronic impugning and debasing of Bernie Sanders run, the media assumption of a Hillary coronation, and the chronic, omnipresent efforts to give legitimacy to to the Bush campaign are such obvious clues to who the king makers will allow us to vote for is sickeningly transparent.

I think a lot of Republicans tired of being browbeaten as racists for their justified criticism of Obama are looking for a way to "prove" that they aren't racists by endorsing the black guy who they perceive to share their values.

It's kind of like how whitebread Laffy "proved" he knew how to talk to black people because he had a black co worker who told him how to talk to people of color.

I honestly can't think of any other reason for the growing support for Carson. He doesn't really have any ideas, none that he can articulate at least. He has ZERO experience running anything, even Obama was better qualified, and even Fiorina is better qualified today, At least she ran a fortune 500 company, ran it into the ground of course, but ran it just the same.

and yes, being a religious fruitcake does endear him to the mouthbreathers, but there are several other religious fruitcakes much better qualified than Carson. I can't stand Huckabee, but at least he is a religious fruitcake who ran a state.

As for impugning and debasing Sanders run, at least the proves not every one has lost their damn minds, not just yet at least.

whatever that means. The social and economic class differences of Carson and Obama are quite different than the middle class or poor Blacks. Yet, neither one would have been able to drink at the 'Whites only drinking fountains.' And, perhaps Ben hasn't seen the attacks upon him, as the other Republican candidates have, because he is Black, yet those who may refrain from attacking Ben for that reason would find no problem in attacking Obama.

Don't cry racism when Carson, or Cain before him are criticized.

I guess white guilt only applies when criticizing a black democrat, because a Black Republican can't be a real "black".

Being "more black" is laughable, it's like Jews, the proper metric is "what would Hitler say?" which is similar to the fact that Obama is plenty black enough that if he were old enough he would not have been allowed to drink at the "whites only" drinking fountain, but come to think of it, neither would I.

for all the racists, conservative or liberal.  ;)

I see Trump remaining strong in the South just as Clinton will, and Berny will be toast.
