END OF MESSAGE

At minimum I see some gloves coming off with Jeb throwing off the attempt to appear as the most reasonable one. He's going to have to fight for his life. If he doesn't, he'll be gone in a couple of weeks.

I know everyone is hoping to see Trump get knocked around, just like a rookie pitcher on his third time through the batting order after the hitters have had a chance to "see his stuff". but we'll see.

I do wonder if Carly will do well again by ignoring the facts and just pulling shit out of her ass, but saying it "with conviction"

I do hope some of the bit players get it through their heads that it's time to start thinning the field, just like the Dems did after their debate. I think the other candidates are going to have to start looking out for Rubio, that sneaky little Cubano is starting to make a move and you have to give him credit for being able to speak well and "sounding" sincere two things very important in the game of politics. He might not be polling as well as Trump or Carson, but the oddsmakers do have him as the betting favorite right now at a pretty impressive 2-1 odds.

I do agree that if Bush doesn't step up tonight, all that money is going to start drying up as donors expect a return on their investment and no one wants to back a loser.

As my high school football coach would say (I'm not in any way suggesting he said it first): "When the going gets though, the tough get going." Jeb's been use to having it easy, but now the going is getting tough. We'll see how tough he really is.

and rather than getting fired up, he seems to be reverting to being simply "whiny" NOT very Presidential IMO.

Tonight's performance may be more important to him than any other candidate. Carson, Trump, Rubio only need to "hold serve" and not do anything too stupid (big challenge, I know) and they will be fine. Trump OTOH has to almost reinvent himself tonight to stay relevant in the race and the expectations for him were so much higher for him than anyone else in the race. He is the only one who was "supposed" to be there at the end.

ubio has worn his welcome out in Florida

Opinion: Marco Rubio should resign, not rip us off | Video

Let's see if anyone brings his record or lack,of in the Senate up tonight.
I think he will be working as a lobbyist in 2017.

............If he has a strong debate performance, I bet the Republican establishment will back him and throw Jeb Bush overboard. I also expect Trump to receive even more incoming artillery fire from all sides and tonight might be the beginning of the end of the campaign trail for him. Rubio will probably have another strong debate performance and help his case as well as probably Karly Fiorina. My money however is on Kaische being the eventual Republican nominee.

I thought he almost took himself out of the race in the last debate his performance was so bad, and he was one candidate I really wanted to do well. IMO he and Jeb both need to knock one out of the park tonight or they may cease to even be relevant to the process. Think Jim Webb after the Dem debate.

if they will give him a chance. Since the topics will center around economic and domestic issues. The governors, Jeb and Kaische may very well do better that they did previously, since these issues play closer to their strong suits. Regarding Rubio, he may do well enough tonight, but in the long run I think Cruz will play better in the the Southern states. As GatorJimmy pointed out, Rubio is not doing well in Florida, and what I've read, neither in SC nor GA.

So polls are meaningless at this time, especially for a caucus. JEB would be crazy to give up bc of the polls at this time

But, due to his debate performances, to date, and some things he's said, he's starting to lose financial support. If he doesn't do well soon, that may start to substantially evaporate.

and yes, there is a LOT of money still sitting on the sidelines waiting for better visibility before getting pledged to any candidate. A huge portion of that money already had Jeb name on it, but it may end up somewhere else if the donors thing he no longer is a viable candidate. Another poor showing tonight could cost him millions.
