Why the Sanders supporters would vote for Hillary as second choice over the likes of Trump does surprise me somewhat. Trump used to be a Dem, and Hillary is much more of an insider power broker the far left claims to hate than Trump. I would think that while Trump would hardly be a Socialist's first choice, he does come closer to representing their interests against Wall st than a political insider like Hillary.

Personally I can live with Hillary as POTUS, but it's not my interests we are talking about, I am not saying that Trump will actually beat Hillary, but that he does have the best chance of getting the disaffected Democratic voters to vote for him than the likes of Jeb Bush or Rubio. I can't imagine any Sanders supporters ever voting for Jeb Bush, he is the devil incarnate to them, but I can see them rejecting Hillary for Trump. I doubt they will do so in sufficient numbers for him to actually beat her, but I see many of them doing just that.

on the face of it. It would make sense for them to go with their strongly rated shows. However, though I'm not a betting man, I'd put money down that if the committee had her on the ropes, FOX would have continued their coverage!  ;)

I see it as one and the same issue. Hillary being "calm and composed" makes for lousy ratings on FoX, I mean honestly, the hearing was quite the yawner, but if Hillary had been on the ropes THAT would have shot ratings through the roof and Fox is a business after all. I think their decision was a ratings decision, and nothing dark or sinister.

Did you watch the hearings? It was as exciting as watching grass grow. The only reason I watched as much as I did was to see if Hilary could keep it together, and she did.

I am seriously thinking about voting in the Democratic primary, with Sanders being the only other choice for the Dems, Hillary winning the nod is much more important to me than who ends up still standing on the right hand side of the aisle. Even though BB likes to run around calling me a Trump Grouple, my praise of him has been limited to conceding "he really wouldn't be any worse than our other options" somehow the quote has been morphed into my undying support of the man. And he wonders why I no longer choose to engage in conversation with him. AAR given the choice between, Hilary and either Bush, Carson, Fiorina, or Rubio I will most certainly vote for Hilary, if it's Trump vs Hilary, I admit I would have to think long and hard about who I would vote for. I think it would come down to Trump's demeanor by the time election day rolls around. If he is running around like BB acting like his hair is on fire, I would vote for Hillary, but if looks like a man who can be taken seriously, you never know.

I might vote Trump. I'm NOT a party loyalist, and Hillary is as much a champion for the MIC, Wall Street Banks and prisons for profit as the narcolepsy inducing, plutocrat tool Jeb is.

till the end. Fox didn't want to show how "Presidential" she looked. There wasn't that "Gotcha" moment that the Rep committee was hoping to nail her with. Towards the end, there was bickering and alot of the same old questions. She came out the winner in this as her poll jump alittle. John Boehner was right at the begining to not pursue this, but the far right crazies painted him into a corner and this is what you get.....
